  Its weakness and lack of discipline in envious people that cause them to lash out and pull the rug from beneath the feet of a hard working child(ren). Instead of putting in the time to TRAIN and WORK HARD....its easier to LYNCH successful athletes to weaken the pool for lil petey to slide through. Otherwise "lil petey" will be a 4 time sectional qualifier.
  
  Waynedales schedule is already questioned, yearly...but the results still roll in. I'll be curious to see the off-season work put in by the culprates of this travesty.
  
  One thing I can say about Mr Nelson...he opens his doors to EVERYONE in the offseason. It amazes me that "local" kids dont capitalize, however, kids travel 100's of miles for these clinics.
  
  As a matter of fact...Zach's 1st loss of the year came to Mclaughlin (Nelsonville-York) a kid that trained at Nelsons in the off season.

  Horrible news for the twins , they truly deserved a shot to be at the top of the podium in Columbus. I've seen them at several FR/GR tournaments, lots of fun to watch......
  However when your dad jumps you from district to district (I believe the family has had their kids at: perry, tuslaw, CVCA, and now waynedale) you are going to get attention from the folks at OHSAA! Too bad that dads ax to grind with the world has cost his boys a chance at a state title!
  
  I do also hope they can fix this situation before county, the twins are a nice addition to one of the best conferences in the area!

  Please get your insults at least accurate. Cory only went to 2 schools in his career. Are you really going to blame my Family that the head coach that "recruited" him stole a simi truck and went on a rampage on the highway? 5 of the starters from that team left also !
  The twins have only gone to Tuslaw and now Waynedale. Even the Tuslaw Superintendent deemed their situation very dangerous and fought for their eligibility and pleaded with the OHSAA to approve the move. Wiseowl since the day you joined this forum your 1st posts were condemning me and my family>
  Even at a horrible and brutal time you pile on like a JR High kid. Who are you and what the hay have the Nelsons ever done to you????
  Never have I or any of my kids violated, broke any rules or have even been accused of of doing so. Yet you are fine with the criminal and unethical behavior that is well documented by the school we left and you say nothing about that. Well shame on you that you do no research before you post and use no discernment or wisdom in looking at why we might have protected our kids and stood up in a bad situation. You are far from being a WISEOLDOWL. You are more of a ignorant mean spirited foolish heckler, kick the sand in the face of someone you really know nothing about and facts, you don't even want to know and it wouldn't matter to you anyway.   Waynedale's Karma(not carma) is great . The twins are cheering on their teammates today , its a awesome organization from top to bottom. You will see a run at the 1st ever Wayne county team state championship in the net 3 years!!! You can count on it. Pencil pushing Bureaucrats can't hold down a champion. The egg will be on those that tried to stop and interfere with good people trying to do great things. It has already created more bonding , more determination and more sense of community and purpose than if this had not happened. The movie is not over. It will make the state titles and team titles all the more sweeter when this is all over. Wallow in your hate and envy now ...your right the Karma will get you! There are two kinds of people in this world . Those that build houses and those that tear other peoples houses down. those that stand for something and those that stand for nothing. See ya at the duals today!

  We may not agree on much...but were in total agreement here. Your kids are getting screwed. Paperwork malfunctions should never stop kids from competition. The way I see it, grades and behavior are the only things that should shut a kid down. If those aren't issues...then there are no issues! They should be wrestling today.
  
  I'm pulling for you on this one. The kids did nothing wrong and shouldn't be penalized. The OHSAA should be ashamed. Beasty Boy is right....this smells like a witch hunt.

  From my perch Waynedale still looks like a dangerous tournament team, Bears wrestled hard and still have some guys that will score points at wcal. Hope the twins are cleared to wrestle by wcal's, I also would like to see every team at it's best by tournament time. I'm sure the Huskies do not want an * next to a wcal title again

  I do challenge Wayndales schedule, But this is just wrong agree if grades are good and behavior right, let them wrestle.. Moved to Claymont next year we might find a spot for you.

  After trying to decipher your post, I would have to question the academics at Claymont. Punctuation, spelling, run on sentences....SMH. In my opinion, you better get your homework finished and request your parents hire a tutor.

  Thought it was going to be a rough day... and it was seeing the twins standing on the side lines warming up and cheering team mates not doing what they have worked so hard to do. Who ever you are behind this you are a lost soul. I would never want my own life to be so hollow and pitiful that I spent my life just trying to stop some kids from wrestling instead of doing something great and helpful for others. If you can't beat them Stop them! Ohio may lose two great kids to the state of Colorado and a Home by the Olympic Training Center. In the end you ruin things for a great Ohio program and coach but your not going to stop a champion. People who manipulate and have turned the OHSAA into a McCarthyism witch hunt organization only damage the sport its suppose to help nurture and is slowing eroding its own power and respect!
  My deepest thanks for all the Private PM's, email's, Facebook posts, and the great support from even my adversaries her on the Chatter!! I really mean that... Most of you get what is going on and it shows we can disagree and still be strong on Basic human decency and the welfare of some kids!
  Waynedale wrestling community you are priceless!! What an amazing contrast from where we came from! True heart felt emotional sincere love and support for the twins and even a old grumpy guy like me. A sea of gold! The twins response to the dilemma says it all when interviewed... We would rather wrestle at Waynedale for two years Than 3 where we came from. Lose one potential individual Title but add a team title to replace it. Better yet this gets made right Tuesday and do both! Trouble makers you just made things better not worse, stronger not weaker. United less divided! IN EVERY ADVERSITY THERE IS A GREATER OR EQUEL BENEFIT. The bad guys always lose eventually and its usually really bad!

The process does require the names of those making accusations and submitting evidence. I would rather be on our end. You sleep better. I truly hope its not true you can be good with out this kind of activity, I'am pulling that it's not.   Great article in the Wooster paper about the eligibility and the "packet" received by someone that caused a knee jerk reaction...... We have hired the Same attorney as the young lady from Norwayne that had her X coach turned a "packet" in on her. Let the witch hunts continue! These top Student/Athletes Role models must be stopped at all cost! We must follow them every where , Video, hunt, and track down their every move! The twins will not be able to break the records they were on pace to smash this year lets now keep them out of the state tournament and help a few average kids maybe slip in!! ..........I hope your proud of your accomplishments!!! Now prepare for exposure ! The old saying watch out you may get what you asked for. When the whole story is told and now it has to be, even our worst critics will be embarrassed . This is a crying shame but now must be done.

  My question is: The Daily Record stated that upon appeal, the OHSAA would need 48 hours to review, (" The next formal OHSAA appeal date is Feb. 17, one day before the Div. III Northwestern Sectional is set to start, but they've been told a decision won't be rendered until 48 hours after the hearing. That would mean no sectional for the Nelsons and no chance at a return trip to Columbus"), If in fact there is a 48 hour window to review, then how does the hierachy that calls themselves OHSAA recejve a "packet" Friday morning....and within a few hours determine ineligibility??? It is interesting to me that a particular can be reviwed and ruled upon in a matter of hours...and or minutes, yet and appeal would need 48 hours for review!!! Just something else to think about Falcon!!!

  Falcon, forgive me here, but your rants are getting old. The OHSAA made a decision to punish your boys for YOUR poor decision making. You are an out of control father that needs to just shut up and enjoy your kids. I feel sorry for your two boys. They are great wrestlers and you are slowly destroying their careers. Workout your issue with the OHSAA and then crawl in a hole and SHUT UP!
  
  You state on these forums you 'will be taking the high road with this". Well according to your 25 posts on this subject, the high road for you is no where in sight.
  
  Your boys didnt need to transfer for saftey reasons from Tuslaw, they need to transfer away from you!
  
  It's too bad a large number of parents are very similar to yourself. Leave the kids alone and allow them opportunity. Too many parents these day's want control of everything. You are the poster boy for a growing trend in high school athletics. Parents want to run the show!

  The ironic thing about the Tuslaw part of the story is that even after what we endured in the Wrestling room(which now has to come out) we never stopped being good neighbor to Tuslaw . The Tuslaw superintendent ask me if I would help stop the Tuslaw annexation that was considered by all to be signed sealed and delivered. People said it was over. Nothing could be done! I agreed to help. I dropped everything that week to save the school, a school I was leaving because my neighbor needed help. I own and surround 2 of the 3 side around the school. I called the Massillon Mayor who I consider a friend . I prepared a speech for the last and supposedly to Late meeting in front of Massilion City Hall. I gave them every thing I had from legal reasoning , to sound principles of being a good neighbor. The packed house of Tuslaw Blue running and overflowing even into the Halls of City Hall cheered enthusiastically after that speech . It was a great moment with my Tuslaw neighbors.It felt like church shaking all the hands of the exiting and now optimistic Tuslaw crowd as they left. I shook hands with that Mayor that night and with his wink I new we had victory. The mayor threw a surprise press conference and announced even though he won and accomplished what he needed to Annex that he was reversing his decision and Tuslaw was now not going to be annexed . People had given up. I helped save over 1.5 million dollars over 10 years from Tuslaw Teachers paycheck that night I didn't save a dime on my 9,000 dollars a half real estate tax on my house( the worse taxed property in Tuslaw) I received two thank You emails , One from a Teacher. There is more to life than wrestling! Thank you's can be hard to come by! Help can be unappreciated! Do the right thing anyway....do what you can do.....it is God , Heart, and truth one must follow in the end ...Man can't be counted on. I have received no help from that Tuslaw crowd from that night in our hour of need. Didn't expect. The teachers? Most were saying that if the annexation was successful they would just demand a raise anyway. Those are the exact words of the head Wrestling coach and tenured teacher. So why help??? Why? Well My good friend Al Osler, Tuslaw superintend did and a very old retired teach from Tuslaw I met that night... Her Hug and tears was priceless!

  You poor man your words will haunt you. I suspect you are part of the story and I can hear your panic. Stay tuned. You got what you asked for. The simple truth. I'am a fighter, served my country, Iam a father and a coach, and I will not sit back and let two awesome kids and my family suffer at the hands of a bully which you sir are clearly one of. Parents SHOULD not sit back and let their kids have threats of having their heads bashed in with a cement block for wearing a "Team Nelson" t shirt to practice. They should not have to ride in a Van with drunk and open container drinking coaches while at The state wrestling tournament while the 140 pound 15 year old unlicensed teammate drives them and their teamates to the State tournament from the hotel. They still missed the tournament and only the Twins mother and Aunt saw their State matches. NO!! PARENTS SHOULD NOT PUT UP WITH THAT! STAY TUNED! Your little 2nd grader should not be jacked up by the throat on the school bus by a 4th grade Youth wrestler and be called a "traitor"! Yes sure just sit back and let it all happen.... Do you have kids? Interesting side note. Even the SR. Captain and 2 time district Qualifier and son of the leading offender coach who is still there walked off the Team when the twins left and gave up his senior year and is disgusted with how we were treated and was then kicked out of his house for it. Great kid! My twins love him despite the pain his Dad caused our family. That coach is still there even though he blew out his own son and the twins and the Olympic coaches for his school. Why he would continue or be allowed to continue there after that is a total mystery to me. Trust me !! A wealthy person like me is not going to say any thing that is not a public record , investigated and proven to be true if it isn't to be turned around and sued for slander. What you hear is true and now unfortunately needs to be shared for both legal reason and the court of public opinion. I will and now am going to be a warrior in protecting anyone else from this kind of unchecked out of control nonsense going on because of teachers unions, Tenure, Coaches Mom's on school boards, nepotism and recent Law suits againt superintendents creating fear and intimidation on parents and their kids!!!! This is and was out of control!!

  Waynedale lost Thier Dual last night! Had their potential league and sectional championship put in question!
  Tuslaws errors are why we are at Waynedale!!!
  It will change who goes to Districts!
  No I disagree strongly that bad documented behavior effecting Wayne county results be SWEPT UNDER THE RUG.
  Only Facts were shared no disparaging remarks is the key! The truth will set you free!!!!

  We have had video tapers, picture takers , my young shomemore sons followed , tail gated and Now "packets delivered"
  The 4rings you are off on this one . Wayne county should be into this story , and should care to know the whole story and nothing less!
  This effects all sports as also demonstrated by the girl from Norwayne who endured the same and was vindicated!

  A new Thread has been started under "Eligibility". I hope that helps some with weak stomachs who have trouble with confrontation issues or dealing with substance. This thread can know return to the status quo and pretend nobody got hurt and none of this effects their life and a few of you that are relieved and tickled pink your kid has a better chance of getting out now that the thing that never happened happened and you can beat Waynedale now. Good luck with those Values and principles!

  As a neutral observer I will say this. Anyone who is loser enough to worry about what other kids are doing in reagrds to eligiblity needs to get a life. Once the State gave the go ahead for these kids to wrestle this year that should have been end of story. Can't wait to see who this sick person(s) is when the court exposes them.
