Great Post...looking for an exciting day tomorrow...lot of good wrestling.
Yes, Harter is at 119 and Yes Grier and Stanley are at 125
Anyone wanting to get together...find a way to meet me...or introduce yourself. Most know who I am. Havent heard anymore on a post meet gatheriing...Perhaps Sectionals?? Or is the JVille Pub the place to be?
We could always show up at 9:00 am and tailgate!!!! This would be a WCAL to remember!!! LOL
EDIT~~~ To make me easier to locate, im thinking about wearing a singlet over a polo, Vision Quest style, so you all know who I am -
rtherthrwyathnknwyaSeems like a wash with the moves given so far. Harter moves a sure title & takes away a husky...Schefer does the converse. Questions in the performance of the replacements. 112 now goes to Britton & 189 goes to Hilty.
-
wrestlingfanAhh, so you do know more than your saying. Good luck to your son 1_beast and I will reintroduce myself to you at the big show in J-ville.

Thank you for your support. I always have a lil birdie on my shoulder, but some things are better left unsaid...i 'heard' a few more things to...but we'll see what others might know.3
Im thinking I better wear the singlet so you know which crazy I am -
wrestlingfanPlease no singlet! I know who you are and look forward to catching up, its been a couple of years. GO HUSKIES
-
THE4RINGZThose couple of years have not exactly been singlet friendly if you know what I mean.
Go Huskies. -
Red RumBeast--
When putting on your singlet--remember, yellow in the front, brown in the back! LOL
I also heard from a little bird that the Bears might have a different and stronger lineup at sectionals. If not sooner. -

Well..their seems to be a absence of a certain ornithological piece, a headline regarding..... well...take a look...have you heard????......Red Rum;674817 wrote:Beast--

CoachB63Twas the night before County and all through the land not husky was howling, no cats were a prowling, Coach had tucked all the bears cozy in their caves
as visions of upsets danced in the chipps heads, bulldogs chased smithies around in their sleep, as falcons soared higher as hosts heard a clatter as beasts of all
sizes chases ringz and rum fans............... -
1_beasti thought we were deeper...ALLLL the haters...stone throwers...but we cant get an intellectual conversation about WCAL.......you n00bs blow goats. you re here to critisixe instead of add to the conversation....pfffffft.....what a joke

rtherthrwyathnknwyaCongrats to the Huskies on the big win tonight. Congrats to Logan Hershey too. The Huskies had a great tourney, very sharp, key wins & a big upset @ 112. Not much controversy to write about. A few calls to mull over perhaps. Glad the night was safe & uneventful.

J-Ville Pub was dead. The only patrons were 3 local yocals, Toothbrush, Me, Miyagi, some dude named Keith and a drunk chick with green teeth. Miyagi would have scored with green teeth if Brush hadn't of picked a fight with the locals causing us to cut our visit short. -
THE4RINGZSome chick with green teeth like in the song Uneasy Rider?
-
Red Rum
Yep, except nobody was tipping their hat to this dental disgrace. (well, except Miyagi-I think he was angling for a blumpkin.)THE4RINGZ;676370 wrote:Some chick with green teeth like in the song Uneasy Rider? -
Mr MiyagiMiyagi had a great time and congrats to the Huskies ! Very good showing. Sea of yellow very quiet tonight . Good sportsmanship from all.
Miyagi was impressed with Waynedales Beam and the Chipps Lance and Hall. Huskies Gregan was a nice surprise and liked what Hershey brought tonight.
Red Rum............What do you mean "WOULD" have scored ?? Who looks at teeth anyways ?? First and last time Miyagi goes to a pub with the Toothbrush. Only guy I know that says he is buying and then when the bill comes says " i don't have any money !!" -
Mr MiyagiP.S. What does STD stand for ? And is there a free clinic in Wooster ??

hmmm1_beast;644613 wrote:WiseOwl...my preseason prediction went to the Huskies...and i was sandblasted for "sandbaggin" lol Its gonna be a "donnybrook" (thanks for that word Mr Brakeman). Toss The Bears and Huskies in the draw with the chipps, bobcats upper tier guys/gals, and Hillsdale and Smithville studs...Dalton has a few noise makers.......Its The Huskies Title to lose....the Bears are looking to Drive for 5.
pretty close here...1_beast;669238 wrote:Im not so sure there will be a lot of Bear-Huskie Marquees. It appears to be a VERY balanced WCAL with a few hammers from everywhere. Norwayne, Chippewa, Dalton, Hillsdale have some pretty good middlewights.. Smithville have the higher weights. Huskies are solid throughout, and Bears are deep but young.
Aside from Huskies/Bears, you have names like Britton, Hall, Morris, Genet, Grier, Moore, Everett, Studer, Hall, Vogelhuber, Heldenbrand, Johnson, Bramley, Finley, Rohrbaugh, Cline, Lance, Hall, Hilty, Lehman, Hilty, Eisenhauer, Badertscher, Wiley, Scrock, Kelby and Worman.
Those kids could very well win their weight classes and/or knock off Bears/Huskies for placement matches.
Realistically...i see a few Bears and Huskies Titles that are possible...but about the only Given is Scheafer....perhaps Beam as well.
103 is light in competitors...whoever shows up to wrestle...
112 Britton/ Harter with Hall and Gregan factoring in???? (possible Bears/Huskies head to head)
119 Berry/Genet???
125 Grier/Stanley
130 Fortune/Moore, with Wardell and Everett looking for a title
135 Vogelhuber/Studer
140 Hershey/Heldenbrand
145 Stanley/Topp with Bramley always a gamer (possible Bears/Huskies head to head)
152 Beam/Finley (Black and Rohrbaugh(ranked in brakeman)
160 Lance/Orr/Meek (possible Bears/Huskies head to head)
171 Hall/Hilty
189 Scheafer/Hilty/Eisenhauer (Scheafer wins here..the question is 2nd place and what weight Scheafer goes)
215 Scheafer/Badertscher/Wiley/Cleaver (Scheafer wins here, the question is 2nd place and what weight Scheafer goes)
285 Scrock/Kelby with freshman Workman looking to make noise.
With this outlook, The finalist im predicting, i have NWN and Waynedale with 1/2 at 160 due to my lack of knowledge on seeding and not including 103..I also have Scheafer at 215.
Finalist
NWN 5.5 (160 in question)
Chipp 5
Way 4.5 (160 in question)
Nor 4
Hills 3
Smith 3
Dalton 1
Perhaps a donnybrook by my calculations, ii havent bracketbusted or tallied points.....anyone with a better outlook...jump on it.
Possibly only 2-3 Bear/ Husky head to head finals
right on the money..if cleaver gets pined instead of pinning, Norwayne my jump to 2nd. T1_beast;673372 wrote:Looks like the Bears are in a dogfight for 2nd-3rd
The Huskies wrestled very well. It was their time. The race between Bears, Bobcats and Chipps was spot on... Bears 132, Cats 122.5? and CHIPPS 118? 122?
So with the huskies at 195? Beast was NOT sandbagging....but actually pretty darn close. Myagi sandbagger. Pretty uneventful tournament. Things went as they should....some biased...but definately toned down from past few years. Nice speaking with/meeting a few of you chatterers.....
Now if I could only get Red Rum, Myagi and toothbrush to come forward. Perhaps sectionals over a bowl of broccoli chesse soup??
Congrats Huskies, Coach Hershey COY, and of course Logan Hershey for MVW -
THE4RINGZGlad to see Gregan win at 112. Jared would be proud of you Derek.
-
Wrestle2010The Grier/Stanley match nothing people expected it to be... Wonder if Grier will be good for next week. Saw he hurt his hand in that match.
-
zoocrewI thought that it would be a good match. Grier look pretty good totally dominated the match. WOW
-
rtherthrwyathnknwyaBeast, I agree, it was good to see you. I was going to make it a point to meet the falcon, but I didn't see him. I asked another Bear buddy of mine & he said he was way high in the stands. I saw the boys. Too bad. Maybe next week? Are we still going to the Jaol after?
