Fucking Mexico..they get so lucky

I was just about to post this.   They backed into last WC and now the Germans couldnt even get a fucking result out of SK.

Germany has looked incredibly slow all tournament. Wild. Their finishing today is awful. Kimmich is the only guy who played well for them.

Neymar is so annoying to watch. Biggest flopper in the world. He pretends he gets shot in the face every time someone touches him. Hope he gets knocked out one of these days. 

Happy Colombia is in! Only because their women are the hottest and the Colombians in NYC have been partying their asses off for every game.

Also glad to see Sampaoli finally take off Di Maria for Dybala and get Pavon in the game. Immediately Argentina started to look competent moving forward (helped Nigeria fell back at that point). 

Di Maria shouldn’t be playing over Dybala for this team and Pavon needs to start SOMEWHERE.

First good match for them in like 2.5 years 😂. That strike was insane though. 

Mbappe was way too good for Argentina defense, and their midfield is just so bad. Once again, though, Sampaoli with a weird decision. No striker? I mean, wtf? How are you gonna win without a damn striker?!?

Argentina has only had 2 good squads in the last 20 years though. And made the WC Final in one of them. The Dutch would be my pick. They had some amazing teams and never got anything done outside of 2010.

I am factoring in Copa America tourneys too.   No reason they should have lost back to back years to Chile. They had a pretty good squad in 98 and 2002 if I recall correctly.  

After all the Messi vs. Ronaldo talk here the last few days, one is already gone and there's a respectable chance the other will be before the day is over.

Referee in this Uruguay/Portugal match was terrible

We were so close to seeing them play each other on an international stage and now are robbed of the hot takes. 

I feel like Vlad made a call to make sure there wasn’t a PK given on that controversial play.
