I'd love to see the Chargers go to the SB but somehow I have this weird feeling that New England is going to get back there. Have no faith in the Chiefs. Yes, Mahomes is a freak but that defense is bad. I don't think even he can cover that up. Someone will figure out Baltimore. Throwing teams can expose that defense.

I'm going with the Saints in the NFC.

Saints vs Pats with Brees getting his second ring.

I'm okay with any scenario that doesn't include the Pats winning it all. I'll say the Saints win a shootout over the Chiefs.

I would be fine with Reid or Rivers finally getting one.   Are you going to do your playoff contest this year?

Anyone but:

  1. Pats
  2. Ravens
  3. Seattle

Would be good with any of the other 9. Luck back from Injury would be cool. Brees getting 2 is fitting and Rivers deserves one. Those would be my top 3, in no order, of rooting I think.

Oh, and I definitely DON'T want cities that steal teams (i.e. Baltimore, Indy) winning it. Also pass on Seattle. Can't stand their front runner fan base and not a big fan of Russell Wilson.

My rooting will be for Reid to win one or Brees to get his 2nd

Im not a big Rivers fan and if they won I’d be ok but wish they would’ve done it in SD

Zero desire for Ravens/Eagles/Rams/Cowboys/Patriots to win....I wo t be upset if Colts win but hope they don’t.

Today’s topic....Bears vs Eagles

What does everyone think. Personally I think they are two dangerous teams that no one wants to face and are gonna knock each other out. Eagles peaking and Bears defense is crazy....and offense not bad.

I can see either winning. Everyone (including myself) picking the Bears but if Eagles win...they might just keep winning.

Gun to head, Bears win.

I think the game depends on Foles finishing healthy.  (Hot taeks I know). If Mack and company beat up those sore ribs and knock him out, the Bears will win.

Ravens vs Chargers

This was the win that got Baltimore a well deserved playoff spot, this time it’s at Baltimore. Surely the Chargers will have a far better plan for Lamar Jackson. Rivers should be able to not succumb to a big turnover number by the tough Ravens defense.

I keep picking the Ravens but Chargers obviously wouldn’t even surprise me.

Any other takes?

I don’t see any way the ravens lose at home. Chargers got hosed finishing with their record and then having to go on the road vs this red hot ravens team.

I think the Chargers are better off on the road.

Texans vs Colts? Colts are the sexy pick and could very well beat the Texans (maybe by a good bit)...but I’m going with Watson and the Texans defense at home.

I think these are two of bottom playoff teams so the winner will probably go to the Super Bowl

They are lol.  They don't really have much (if any) home field advantage.  Their fans sucked to begin with and most of them have abandoned the team after their move.  I don't even think they sell out their 27K capacity stadium for most home games.

They are the sexy pick?  I guess I haven't gotten that vibe.  It is actually pretty surprising they haven't been given that much media attention after what they have done.  Reich is a sneaky candidate for coach of the year.  Starting 1-5 and finishing the season 10-6 is remarkable. I think the Colts are the better team and found their way after a rough start.  It also doesn't hurt that Luck finally is back to his old self.  If you restarted the season now, the Colts would probably be a 12 win season. They already beat the Texans in Houston, so it wouldn't shock me to see them win again.  All of their losses have been pretty close too.  I think this game will be close regardless of winner.

Colts dominating the Texans. Kinda surprising to me. They are bullying the Houston d line.

Watson pretty inaccurate today with the bad miss on 4th down just before half and the wide open receiver way downfield he just missed.

He is always inaccurate. He just plays with the NFL's best WR corp. He reminds me a lot of Terry Bradshaw. Actually a garbage QB, but has great stats due to the amazing team around him. Slow mental processor, weak arm, slow delivery, inaccurate, takes a ton of hits (60+ sacks!) and doesn't move through progressions.

He also locks in on his primary receiver that allows the defense to move toward him earlier than otherwise.  Cost him at least a 1st half interception and a tipped ball for an incompletion, both on critical downs
