ESPN reporting full tear of his Achilles. I hope he can come back at full strength at any point in the future. I’m sure it’s happened in football before, but I can’t imagine it’s easy for a 275-pound guy to recover from this.
Just read that Patrick Ewing dropped from 23/10 to 10/7 for the remaining 206 games of his career following Achilles injury, but he was 36 years old. Dominque played 300 more games with little drop off. Kobe never really seemed to be the same.
God damn. That sucks. One of my favorite players to watch.

I would guess both will be gone sooner than later
I don’t really get this move from Detroit. I guess they are trying to bring in a star to the new downtown arena, which I can understand. But don’t think this makes them better at all and mortgages some of the future.
