I figured he never missed a game hitting middle of the lineup. Even still, not a huge RBI guy most years. But 70 is doable if you get 600 ABs.

Yeah, in hindsight, it makes total sense. I just wouldn't have framed it that way when thinking about it, since he was never the big offensive weapon most of the time. Great pick.
And Lou only played 14 full seasons, so that logic doesn't work for him.
