The NFLPA contacted the NFL after Titans players had beer thrown at them when they jumped into the Dawg Pound after that pick 6. Bunch of bitches. Don't jump into the opponents stands when you're playing away.

Agreed. You jump into the opposition’s stands, what are you trying to prove.  Hell, you are no doubt causing fans to spill all their beer all over themselves.  Act like you have scored a TD before, and stop acting like complete fools; you are supposed to be a professional.

The players that jumped into the stands are lucky that they only had beer dumped on them.

I watched the Rizzo show last night which I had on tape. He was going on and on about how it’s only one game, folks. Yeah, right Tony.  (Mike Polk left the show and Tony’s new side kick is Tony Grossi......I cant decide if I like him or not.)

I don’t know how it works. Was it definitely Titans players reporting it or could basically any player report it (like saw it while watching game on tv)?

Not sure but the fan got banned indefinitely.

My how the PC/pussified world has changed. If that would've happened at the Dawg Pound at Muni, Logan Ryan would've drowned in a sea of beer and probably got a few dog biscuits/batteries clinked off his helmet. If a fan goes over the rail, toward the field, and intentionally dumps beer on a player, he's gone but apparently it's ok for opposing players to try to show up the fan base by leaping into their turf? Bullshit !

Girlfriend of DE Chris Smith killed this morning.  Was outside of vehicle after they hit the median and a driver under the influence hit the passenger side of their car where she was standing.  They have a 1 month old daughter togehter...I can't imagine the pain he is going through, especially seeing it happen.

Logan Ryan was tweeting about it and called out the NFL and NFLPA. People were trying to say they jumped into the stands to celebrate with Titans fan(s) but the angle of it makes it hard to tell. Either way, I don't think it warrants having beer dumped on you. Plus if you watch the clip it looked some fuckhead off to the side trying to sneakily shake his Bud Lite bottle onto the players. I would typically agree with BR that jumping into the dawgpound is at your own risk, but this time the guy looked some like asshole to me.

Naw, fuck him.  You're opening yourself up to this shit if you are doing this at an opposing stadium.

Idk, times might be changing with what you can get away with. If players cry foul - and I don't necessarily support them doing that - but if they do, I wonder if the NFL might start cracking down.

In typical Browns fashion, can't even get the investigation right. They called, and banned, some guy that hasn't been to a Browns game since 2010. Guess the guy is some kind of an entertainer/musician and was performing at a wedding on Sunday during the game. Browns employee gave him the old hard ass treatment over the phone when it was the wrong person.

Anyone else feel that Monday night is a "must win?"

The second game of the season?? nope, not at all...a win would be great, but finishing over .500 is the only "must" for me. Crawl before you walk, walk before you run--we're at least a year away from any real championship run, so why set ourselves up for disappointment with "must win" expectations on a week-to-week basis. JMO.

If they lose this game against the Jets I get the feeling that shit will spiral out of control because they likely aren't beating the Rams and then they have the Ravens on the road. They'd be staring down the barrel of an 0-4 start. Fan base will revolt after all of these expectations. Also can see OBJ losing his mind, etc, etc.

Don’t go into the stands if you are the road team – period!  No road player should ever go into the stands in any sport – period!  That is inciting a fight; it is 100% the player’s fault.  Stop defending irresponsibility.

Since 2002, 11 percent of teams started 0-2 and made the playoffs. 14 out of 133 teams. Then you have the Rams game 3...

Lev Bell & CJ Moseley may also miss this game. No excuses to lose this one or this team is a helluva lot less than most of us thought they were.

Nearly every game in the NFL is a must win imo. There are only 16 games, so losses aren’t as forgiving as they are in the MLB/NBA/NHL/Etc.

Because losing to Trevor Seimian would wreck this team. And Bell and Mosley have a good chance of being out also.
