Kind of funny the Jets now have McCown, Crow, and Pryor.
Any opinions on the rumored Junior Gillete interest?

I would laugh all the way to 5-11 if the Browns get Darnold and Chubb. Been wanting that draft for about 7 months now. Garrett and Chubb would, IMO, provide the best pass rushing duo by the end of 2018 heading into 2019.
sounds like we're close to signing EJ Gaines. Pretty solid pickup this late in FA.

I think this should push drafting a CB higher less of a priority.
CB EJ Gaines headed to the Browns, source says. Reunited with defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, who coached him with the Rams.

I doubt he backs up TT any longer than TC/PS.

Solid signing. I don't want to see him ever see the field but I think he will be a solid mentor to the rookie. This is what dumbass Sashi should've done with Kizer (two vets, one rookie).

I can’t stand when people “feel bad” for sashi or try and credit him for the moves the browns FO are making now. The guy was awful.

The only good thing he did was sabotage that AJ McCarron trade. I don't think you're going to see any franchises pounding on his door for him to be their next GM.

You beat me to it. He did put the Browns in good position this draft with the assets he collected, but I would not have trusted him to make any of those picks. I am not sure how anyone can feel bad for a man that made millions and completely failed. I would love to get paid that much to fail miserably.

I agree. Some of the "outside the box" shit that he did (Brock Osweiler trade) along with accumulating cap space set the team up well for the real "football guys" to take over. I wanted no part of him selecting a QB because he would've likely kicked the can down the road (trade down from #1 because he didn't have the sack to make a decision) another year.

Agreed. Hell look at 2017 draft, hard to look at that and think DAMN what a great draft! 3 1st rounders and we got Myles Garrett (a no brainer pick that any one could have made), Peppers who fucking sucks, and Njoku who is all potential. Then we drafted the worst QB in 2017, who is no longer here. The only other pick that helped make it not a total disaster is Ogunjobi (SP?).
You know what would have been way better than all those picks he accumulated? Not accumulating them and just staying put at 2 and taking Carson Wentz, a top 5 QB in the NFL. Smh

No way man, I'd much rather have:
Corey Coleman
Shon Coleman
Kizer
Kessler
Kindred
Drango
Ricardo Louis
Jordan Peyton

SMFH, not a single draft pick hit. BRB, heading to the 480 bridge.

I’m right behind you
Dan Patrick has been beating this drum for a while now, claiming multiple sources and the Browns 'affection" for Josh Allen. Could OBJ be part of a trade up from #2 to #1 for the Browns? Disregard that this story is from MKC. Have been hearing Patrick claiming "multiple" sources that the Browns have Darnold and Allen "too close to call"....

If the Giants wanted the 4th overall and a second rounder for OBJ and he’d sign a long term contract with us, would you do it?

The talent is tempting but probably not. Putting him, Landry & Gordon on the same team would likely end in disaster. Three foxes in a hen house = total chaos.
A lot of time before this draft but if it were happening today I'd have this sick feeling in my gut that they were going to trade #1 overall.

This reminds me of the eagles back in the day when they got VY, Vick, D Jax, Maclin, Namdi, Asante Samuel, and DRC.
Pieces didn't fit together, and "too many cooks in the kitchen" or "Too many mouths to feed" sort of thing.
I can't believe this team: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/cle/2011_roster.htm
won 4 games, but Hue couldn't scratch two together with this squad. What in the fuck?

Kind of my thoughts. TT would be confused (lol) with all of the guys open. Imagine OBJ, Landry, Gordon, Njoku (he would get open in this offense), Duke in the backfield, etc. It would be a nice luxury to have but they'd really have no real #2. They'd have two 1's in OBJ & Gordon and a slot guy in Landry. An adequate to above average WR at the 2 would be fine.

One of the guys (I believe) from CBS Sports was proposing the Browns use #4 & #33 to acquire him. SCREW that. I know he's an elite talent but the Browns just acquired a top 10 disgruntled receiver (Landry) for a 4th and a 7th.
