One of the guys (I believe) from CBS Sports was proposing the Browns use #4 & #33 to acquire him. SCREW that. I know he's an elite talent but the Browns just acquired a top 10 disgruntled receiver (Landry) for a 4th and a 7th.

Absolutely fucking not. With his baggage and contract situation, coming off an injury, they'll be lucky to get a 2nd for him. And I wouldn't even do that, unless it was the eagles pick.

If they are going to go after players, via trade, I'd rather see them target some defensive/impact playmakers. They don't need to have a Madden/fantasy football receiving corps to be successful. They have enough draft capital where they can take a flyer on a WR in the 2nd round and let him be the #2.

Bringing in a OBJ, along with Landry and possibly Gordon, coming up on contract extensions could put them in that "cap Hell" we've all heard about related to Dorsey. I'd pass on OBJ.

Don’t be stupid, they’ll easily get more than a 2nd rounder for him. And you absolutely would trade the 33rd pick in the draft for him.

OBJ is in a career path only bested by Jerry Rice. Let’s stop calling him a #1. He might be the second greatest at the position ever.

This. Lol @ saying you’d only take him for a late second rounder lol Jesus Christ

He’s a top 3 WR in the NFL, at best. I’d take him in a heartbeat.

Chris Mortenson apparently reporting the Browns are down to Darnold or Allen. Not sure that's too Earth shattering of a claim.

There have been a few saying this for a while now. What I found interesting (cough-dick move-cough) is Josh Rosen's college coach saying the Browns should draft Darnold (over Rosen) because Darnold is more "blue collar" and Rosen won't fit in? In other words, his HC is saying "he doesn't want to play in Cleveland."

Hasn't Rosen himself said that he doesn't want to play for Cleveland?

I got one for ya, S&L...supposedly the voice of the Browns, Jim Donovan, is claiming that the Browns have threatened to take QB's at #1 AND #4 to try to drive up the value. Goes back to your "use your 1st rounder in every draft to take a QB" except they'd be doubling down. I think we all know this isn't going to happen because, frankly, it would be stupid unless they turned around and traded the guy they took at 4.

I’ve actually thought about this in my head lol  take Darnold at 1, and Rosen at 4. One of them will be a top 10 QB. Lol

I'd rather take Darnold/Rosen than Allen[Ever]/Barkley/Minkah at 4

The thought was Darnold at 1 and Allen at 4. Highly doubt Rosen falls to #4. What's funny is that, from what I'm hearing, Rosen doesn't even seem to be a thought or consideration for the Browns. Had heard Dorsey had his mind made up on him before he joined the Browns?

I will say that I wouldn't have an issue with them pulling a Redskins and taking the QB at 1 and taking a flyer later on a Falk or White ala RGIII/Cousins type deal later in the draft..

Taking the QB at 1 & 4 is a bad deal though. Sends a bad message to the guy selected #1 overall.

I also get this feeling that Dorsey is going to be the "anti-Sashi." Instead of trading down, and stockpiling (he may trade down to move back up), I think he will use some of these 2nd's to get back up into the 1st round. I don't think he wants a ton of rookies on this roster.

I have a bad feeling they’re going Allen. And I’m going to lose my fucking mind if they do.

I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum. I'm about 95% sure it will be Darnold. He's the safe pick. Might not be the best pick but I don't see Dorsey coming out of the gate taking a risk with a QB that can't read defenses who has played limited competition. I know the competition factor doesn't weigh in much, after Wentz, but I get the feeling that's his thought process.

I'm sure COA saw this but there's a poster on the OBR who claims to know someone who is tight with Dorsey. Claims Hue was forced on Dorsey because Haslam wanted to prove he could keep a coach 3 years but Hue's ass is likely gone after 2018-19 regardless. Also sounds like the Haley hiring was on Dorsey and he (Haley) will have total offensive control.

I believe the 2nd half of your statement for sure. No chance Hue even wanted an OC, especially not one with full control. I hope the team does decent and still fires Hue, I really hate him.

I juat can’t imagine it being Allen, I think it’s more media than scouts.

I would hope if he were available the Jets would take Darnold at #3.

I GUARANTEE the Browns will NOT take Barkley at #1. If I'm wrong, I will leave the OC for one year. That's how confident I am that Dorsey values RB's in rounds 2-6 and will not  be stupid enough to burn a #1 overall pick on a RB.

It's not a reference towards you, as I know you're just passing along info, but Dorsey won't take Barkley at that spot.

LOL, don't leave. How 'bout you have a Steelers avatar for a year if they take him #1?

I can only have so many avatars. I already have a bet with like_that with me predicting the Cavs don't make the NBA Finals. I'm expecting a "Roethlisberger in a dress" avatar, or some shit like that, if I lose.

I'm saying with certainty that Dorsey will NOT take Barkley at 1. If he does, he should be released of his duties immediately. Right now, RB & CB, after what they did in FA, are priorities but they are not major priorities. Those are positions they can wait until the 2nd/3rd round to fill. They need a QB, LT, DL, LB and WR as their top priorities, imo.
