The downfall of a rookie QB first season. Going to be an up and down ride.
Radio guys saying he's trying to throw a 17 point TD pass.
Had a feeling we would get a come back down to earth game.
Mayfield looking as bad as Darnold today
Mayfield playing bad but the defense is getting schooled as well.

Yeah, this defense is terrible. Not as impressed with Watson as much as I'm disappointed with missed tackles and limited pass rush.
Finally some life. Need a stop here.
The D is getting pressure but can’t actually hit Watson.
And 1 second later BBC hits him but Carrie is playing like a retard
Dammit Robinson
Jesus
You know it’s not our day when you have an 80 yard td pass called back on penalty then two plays later a 70 yard throw thats fumbled inside the 5. Smh
That sequence was definitely a "Browns gonna Browns" moment.
Calloway was a jackass on the 2nd one. Sucks tho bc he got open for 2 long tds. Ugh
Baker needs to quit being greedy and take what the defense gives him.
......And the UNDER wins today.
Browns are currently outside the top 10 on the Draft.
For as much bitching as I did throughout this game about the defense, I have to backtrack a little, and say they weren't all that terrible. They held the Texans to one offensive TD and a bunch of FG's.
This game pretty much came down to one quarter (the second) and the gaffes of Baker Mayfield. If he takes care of the ball, this would've likely been a real good game. I do like the fact that he bounced back in the second half and continued slinging but this one was on him.
Kudos to the O-line as I expected him to be under duress but, again, no sacks. Bed holding call negated a TD by Robinson but the O-line is solid in pass pro. Just need to run it better.
Gonna give Callaway a "pass" (a little) on that fumble. Dude had to have been gassed after sprinting 76 yards, only to have the TD called back, and then have to do it the next play. Next time, ball in the left hand and run toward the pylon. Lesson learned.
Team is still making mistakes but I see a ton of talent and a bright future. After Gordon was traded I thought they needed a ton at WR. Not really the case now as I think they need a #1 and keep Landry, Callaway, Higgins (and yes) Perriman.
Yeah, defense played well I thought. They were giving up yards but Houston is a good offensive team. That’s to be expected.
I actually thought baker played well other than the interceptions.

Remove the picks and Baker has a fantastic game. His turnovers accounted for 10 points for the Texans. Likely a much more interesting game.

Calloway fumble sucked but the one thing I loved about that is baker running down the field and instantly went over to talk to Calloway to pick him up. You rarely ever see that and that leadership goes a long way and makes Baker what baker is. The interceptions were bad but he’s still a rookie and he will learn from those mistakes. I loved the way he played in the second half.

No need with Chubb & Duke.

I haven't seen anything about Hunt to Cleveland and I doubt it happens. Maybe a slight chance in the off season, but I highly doubt Dorsey wants to bring on that circus for Baker's sophomore year. These young guys have dealt with enough drama, there is no reason to bring in Hunt.
