Oh please. I’m not a Barkley guy. I even said on here when he was drafted that they fucked up with that pick.

But you said on here that he sucks. Posters on here act like he’s terrible. He’s really, really good. And playing behind a bad O-line and in a bad offense.

The pick was bad, but Saquon is not.

I haven't seen anyone on here says he's "bad" or "sucks." Just wasn't great value where he was picked.

I wonder why they have a Spanish radio play...but still pretty cool

Pretty sure COA did earlier this season.

Gotcha. I don't think he's bad or sucks. In fact, probably will be a great player. I just prefer (as I've probably said 100x's, lol) getting more value. Regardless of what many would like to think, if the Browns take Barkley at #1, I'm very skeptical that they still get Baker. I know quite a few people who think they could've had both.

My point then, and still is, as an offensive weapon Barkley is great. As a RB, he leaves a lot to be desired. His vision, and decision making are suspect at best. He's the ultimate 19 carries for 19 yds, 20 carriers for 100 type of player. If you value consistent yardage and reliability (as I do) he's not a great RB. If you value explosive plays he's great. He lacks discipline as a runner, and needs to get open in space to make anyone miss. Chubb makes dudes look like idiots at the LOS.

As for S&L saying his offense/line/blah blah is bad, I would add in Browns offense and oline isn't any better. In many ways it's worse. Let's take a look at the Giants Oline:

Both tackles are better than the browns tackles. `Advantage: NY Giants

WR: OBJ, nuff said. Add in Shepard. Advantage NY Giants, lol not close.

TE: Evan Engram v Njoku. Advantage NY Giants, no close.

QB: HoF QB vs rookie in Baker Mayfield. Advantage, debatable. I'd rather have Baker Mayfield at this point, but still a rookie with ups and downs.

RB: 2nd overall pick, deemed a "generational talent". lol Have to think advantage goes Giants here

Bottom line, Chubb is the better RB in a worse situation. lolfail Giants

a bit dramatic in that Barkley has yet to even have 19 rush attempts in any one game

I watched almost every carry he had in college. He left a lot to be desired in college IMO.

I mean I agree with you a lot on all of this but I believe he could play for 10 years every game and never have 19 carries for 19 yards in a 20 rush attempt game. Chubb certainly a better RB but a lot of teams looks for that back that can come out of the backfield. Old ass Eli forcing to Odell in double coverage or hitting Barkley out of backfield ....I don’t know.

All I know is the Giants franchise is a shit hole right now and seems like they are running things to just run out Eli’s career before they actually try to win and move on. Browns are in way better shape, are a better team now and their drafts have been huge in that. The Giants are definitely a fail...we’ll see if Barkley is still a 2,000ish all purpose yardage back whenever the Giants are relevant again.

Call me Mr Conspiracy Theory on this one but almost wondering now if that botched AJ McCarron trade was Hue trying to cover his ass, both ways, seeing that the writing may be on the wall. If McCarron succeeds, he buys himself time. If he sucks ass, he's likely fired and knows he's heading back to Cincy with a 2nd & a 3rd, with firm belief he's their head coach in waiting.

I know, a bit far fetched but I wouldn't put anything past that self preserving POS.

I’ll drop it, but CoA’s post was incredibly dumb and just plain wrong.

Moving on though. I hate the damn bye week. Wanna see some Baker TDDDDDDD’s

With limited playing time, Chubb is now in the top 10 in the league in rushing.

Hearing the Week 13 game against Houston could be flexed to Sunday night. The current game (SF/SEA) looks like a clunker.

With that being said, how many prime time games do you think the Browns get next year? I'm going with 4-5.

I’ll go 1 MNF, 1 SNF, 1 TNF

This is probably what will happen.  Not because the Browns are good, but because of the appeal to Baker.  I might be boring, but I prefer Sunday afternoon games for the regular season over any other games.

No, not at all. I think most people prefer the 1pm starts over anything else.

I don't mind the 8:15pm start against Denver (on a Saturday night) but that's only because I don't have to get up for work the next morning. Sunday night or week night games suck, to me, because the Browns either a) shock the world and win or b) lose in some ridiculously disgusting fashion that I can't sleep because I'm pissed or jacked up (from a win) and am lucky to get 3-4 hours sleep.

Yeah I don't mind that game, because I will probably be drunj somewhere lol.  Does anyone know why that game is on a Saturday?

You just described why I hate primetime games on a work night. Even working from home more often it is brutal staying up late to watch those games, especially after a loss.  I can live a bit with TNF since it is heading into the weekend, but I still hate it.  This is when I envy those who aren't on eastern time.

The only benefit to the Cavs sucking ass is no longer dealing with the 830/9PM playoff/finals games on a work night.  Those were obnoxious.  Game 1 vs the Warriors I was so pissed about the bullshit phantom overturned chrarge call (sprinkled in with JR being an idiot), that I didn't get to bed until 3AM.  I woke up at 6AM to start my day on Friday.  I didn't get any work done that day.

Not likely. Chargers-Steelers is getting protected by CBS, but that’s the game NBC is pushing hard for. Pats-Vikings is dead because I believe Pats have hit their 5 games in primetime already by then. As of now, Fred is looking at Ravens-Falcons, but falcons last week and Ravens slumping might kill that. But that’s still the leader. He is also pushing hard for Rams-Bears in Week 14, but if that doesn’t happen he will go Rams-Lions as he wants Rams on SNF this season after flexing out of the Niners game with them.

Sounds like if these all fall through, Browns have a shot at it. But they have to win this week and the following or my guess is no chance. But as of now, they would be 4th choice.

I assume bc college football is over. If I am going to a game, 1pm start for sure. At home I like the 1pms still but don't hate the unusual 4pm ones.

Will be tough for the browns to get a win this week. BYE is tough to beat.

Mayfield is currently on pace for 3472 yards passing, 23 TD's & 12 INT's. For each of those numbers, are you taking the over or under on yardage, TD's & INT;s?
