Supposedly Aaron Rodgers is taking ivermectin, on advice of Dr. Joe Rogan.

LMFAO.  I think the general consensus was Rodgers was already a huge douche, but he has been ON FIRE the past few days.

So you didn't get vaccinated, and maybe lied about it.  What's the big deal?  Just own it, dude.  I bet when he got the big "you could kill Mom & Dad" speech, he said "I'm willing to take that risk".

Browns, Bengals, Steelers all fighting for a playoff spot with KC and Chiefs luck out and catch GB without Rodgers

That's what was really annoying with BAL winning another game they should have lost.  They basically have the inside track at one of the 7 playoff spots yet.

Just seems to be a lot of parity, at least in the AFC.  It's like, who in the AFC has looked better than PIT?  Who in the AFC hasn't looked better than PIT?

I still believe the usual suspects figure it out and KC, BAL, BUF and TEN are going to be divisional champs.  Looks to be at least 7-8 teams in the hunt for the 3 wildcards.  Hell, DEN is 5-4 even with losing winnable games against PIT and CLE.

Still think Baltimore is (lucky) trash. Haven't impressed me one bit. AFC is wide open.

There’s a reason Matt Stafford has been in like 4 career prime time games and has 4 career fewer playoff wins

lol at this penalty. You'll have to go to youtube to watch it, but it was a late roughing the passer against Donald.

The push? When he was already in the air as Tanny-Hill threw it?

Yeah. Pathetic call. It was posted on the Jets forum I read. Someone also posted the RP call against the Browns on Kyler Murray that was even more pathetic.

Yeah. Pathetic call.

There were some REALLY bad ones this year. To the point that Sheldon Day's hit on Burrow isn't even in the top-5 worst. And they didn't call that until both teams were lineup up for the next play!

That was terrible. I was screaming at the TV. Could've been called immediately but it was like they looked at replay, which they're not supposed to, THEN called it. My lady was like "what's next, they're going to throw a flag and say 'pass interference, on the defense, two plays ago, first down Bengals?"

Josh Allen (Bills) has now won a game where they were 15 point underdogs and lost a game when they were 15 point favorites.

And Mac Jones gets nothing for the crap he pulled yesterday. Maybe a slap on the wrist fine. Should get some sort of suspension but they don't do that to QB's.

These are the games where people think the league is rigged. This is bad. Really bad.

I don’t think the league is rigged but I have a hard time believing there are refs who aren’t cheating. After the whistleblower podcast I don’t think it’s exclusively an NBA problem.

Well, I kind of feel like the refs gave PIT that game.  But after about 9 they took from us, I ain't complaining....

BTW, while we're on the subject, a HORRID call a few weeks ago was a 14-pt swing against GB, and might have cost PIT a win.

Third time this year Tony Corrente should've been fired for his piss poor referee job.

He has seemingly gotten worse every year. He was impressively bad last night…..as were several crew members.

Seems like the refs think they are bigger than the game and are really bad. When the "eye in the sky" as Nance referred to during the Browns/Bengals game corrects a roughing the passer call right before the Bengals are about to snap the ball, 20 seconds after the last play was called dead, you know these guys are missing calls right & left.

IMO, a big part of shitty reffing comes from the leagues deciding that new rules need to be focused on or that an existing one needs to be brought back to the forefront. You have a million things to look for on any given play — where there's fast action and a split second to determine what did or didn't happen — and then get new stuff on top of that that you have to pay extra attention to because that's what is getting someone above your pay grade all fired up.

A few years ago, it was head shots/targeting. A good thing to look for, but the rule was made so inflexible and wasn't equipped to consider factors like intent or an offensive player moving their head into the defender's path after he'd already committed to it. And if QBs are involved, it's even worse and anything that might kind of vaguely look like it possibly could have been considered improper contact is an auto-flag. End result: A detraction from the game because so many of those calls wind up feeling over-the-top in penalty in comparison to the actual hit. Worse in college where a guy can wind up missing four quarters of play over them.

And now, it's taunting for virtually no reason other than, I guess, fucking boomers thinking players showing emotion and having fun is a horrible example to set. It shouldn't take much thought to determine actual "IN YOUR FACE LITTLE BITCH!!!!!" stuff that's over the line, but for whatever stupid reason, it's been expanded so much that any display of in-the-moment emotion runs the risk of hurting a team. Guy on Iowa State gets dinged for, uh, slowing down on a TD catch, high-stepping a bit and looking behind him. Dude on Chicago got dinged for a sack celebration that involved taking steps towards the other team's sideline.

Only a total fucking pussy thinks shit like that's worth 15 yards, but the higher-ups in the league seem to fit into that category. Giving refs one more thing to not just look for, but focus their attention upon, for no legit reason other than vague-ass "protect the shield" optics. And because they're focusing on that shit, other stuff that is legit gets constantly overlooked. making the entire product worse.

Gotten to the point where I just take it for granted that there will be fuck-ups and there is a legit chance those fuck-ups will legit impact the outcome of a game, so all I can do is hope my team benefits from shitty reffing, as opposed to the alternate option.

The thing I hate about taunting is when they jaw each and every play, yet its not called. How is that different than looking at a bench from a hashmark?

Taunting, to me, should be pretty obvious, like laying a brutal hit on someone then standing over them talking shit. Last year OBJ got flagged for giving the Little Rascals "hi sign" which he did in the previous 3 weeks but the 4th week in was a no no....also guys dropping the ball forward or giving a 1st down sign aren't taunting.

I’ll say it. No taunting is racist!
