You guys see Joe West ejected Mike Rizzo (nationals GM) for not wearing a mask during the game today? Rizzo was all by himself way up in one of the suites. How the hell anyone even spotted him up there or cared he wasn’t wearing a mask is ridiculous. And, Joe West is walking around the infield with his mask under his fucking nose.

He’s just the worst....for 40 damn years.

Interesting stat:

The 2020 Dodgers already have more homeruns than the World Champion 1988 Dodgers did for their entire season.

Mike Trout, Juan Soto and Fernando Tatis Jr....must watch baseball

Soto led NL in batting average and all of baseball in OB%, Slug% and of course OPS...he’s 21. Tatis fizzled last 3 weeks. Trout misses October again

Babe Ruth

Lou Gehrig

D.J. LeMahieu

LeMahieu year player in modern era to win batting titles in both leagues

I like it. I'm going to do the same.

I like how 7 out of 8 of the playoff matchups are teams who have not played this season. I think that it makes the matchups more interesting.

Very much so. I like that my Reds are not fully known by the Braves but on the flip side the Reds don’t  adapt quickly....so I worry about our hitting.

I'm a tribe fan, and I am pulling for the Reds in the NL. I've always wanted an all-Ohio World Series since I was a kid. I never envisioned an all-Ohio World Series played in Texas, but I will take it.

I hope that moving forward MLB puts more of an emphasis on regional games like they were forced to do this year. For one, I just find it more interesting to play teams that I know fans of, and secondly I am more likely to take a summer road trip to one of those cities when life is back to normal.

And I’ve been waiting 60 years for this to happen.

And the number one positive: None of those 10 p.m. starts on work nights when you're like, "I'd love to see this game...but I can't be going to bed between 1-2 a.m. AGAIN!". I've always hated those west coast swings, so going a summer without one was awesome.

I hope they keep the DH universal, add two teams, go to four regional divisions of eight teams each.

Cleveland should be in a division with:

Pittsburgh, Detroit, Cincinnati, CWS, Cubs, Milwaukee, Minneapolis

I think it would actually help the west coast the most:

Seattle, SF, A's (whether that be in Oakland, Portland, Vancouver?), LAD, LAAA, SD, Phoenix, Denver.

Miami, TB, Dallas, Houston, StL, KC, Atl, Charlotte/Nashville/Memphis?.

Toronto, Montreal, Bos, Philly, NYY, NYM, DC, Baltimore

I like that. Play everyone in your division 16x. Shorten season to 160. That leaves 48 games for outside division...or, a 3 game series with the remaining 16 teams. Alternate home and away each year with them, the way football does.

You could even shorten to 139 (I think my math is right) and play 13x in division, and 3x out of division. Mostly because I’m a proponent of this shortened season. Obviously this year was way to short, but somewhere between 130-145 is a good compromise imo.

Got it. Somehow I missed that and was super confused why they were even playing today.
