In before Ironman92. ;-)

I suppose Brantley will be a big contributor to the continued success of the Astros this year.

Actually looking forward to the Reds this year. I thought they made some really nice offseason moves to get them to at least a competitive place in the very tough NL central. I think they’ve done enough to get them out of the cellar but unfortunately not good enough to win the division. Hoping the young guys continue to develop and then they can make a postseason run in 2020.

Id be happy with 5’ish games over .500, especially when 60 of our games will be against the Cubs, cardinals, and brewers.

2019- No post July 31 trades, one less mound visit

2020- increase roster size by one, minimal 3 batters faced or end of inning.

Still need universal DH, add 2 teams, realign divisions geographically.

Mariners 3rd baseman had money on Red Sox tonight. Errors on 3 straight plays in the 9th inning almost caused them to blow a big lead.

MVP chants for Bryce Harper from Phillies fans....in Nationals Park

Just hit a HR 30 rows deep into 2nd deck. Looked 500 ft but probably only 460

Chris Davis' life must be as much of a pure hell as a dude making a shit-ton of money despite absolutely sucking can call life "pure hell". I was watching the Yankee-Houston game while waiting for it to get close to the NCAA finals and they'd cut in to every single at bat he had just to monitor him getting out. The whole country (at least everyone who follows baseball) knows he is pure shit and can't hit the ball. Honestly, this is hilarious!

Does that record include pitchers?

Because if it does, that's really bad.

I remember that Dean Chance was a really bad hitter.  I looked up his stats and in 1966 he was 2 for 76 and the next year he was 3 for 92.

IMHO: Suspensions for starting pitchers should be 9 games, they should miss a start, not get their normal rotation delayed by a day
