If it’s not ever said “enlarged heart” or something I always assume suicide/drugs
Verlander No Hitter.
Royals finally get their first 40 HR player
Jorge Soler just hit his 40th and it was a bomb
Yelich out with a fractured kneecap.
Sucks for the Brewers because they're in playoff contention and will have to go the rest of the way without their best and one of MLB's best players.
Sucks for MLB because a highlight reel player won't be playing down the stretch in a playoff race.
Sucks for me because Pittsburgh's totally out of it, so I can't even pretend this injury will give me false hope that my team might be able to make a move now.
Now that there is some real trivia on Bochy.
Nice catch, Dad!

Mike Yastrzemski plays 1st game at Fenway with Red Sox great HOF and grandpa Carl in attendance
Of course he hit a HR, baseball can be pretty special
That’s awesome. ^^^^^^^
Yaz also threw out the first pitch to his grandson.
Crazy that there will probably be a 95 win team in the AL that does not make the playoffs.

My guess is at least a 97 win team

I was going to say 97.
The AL is a bloodbath. If the Indians don't make it with 96-97 wins, I'm actually ok with it.

I would be if they hadn’t trotted out:
For over a month of the season. They let the Twins get out of reach — in large part — because they trotted a half ass lineup out for over a month. That still doesn’t sit well with me.
Yeah feel sick for Indians fans and players. 93 wins with three to go and they don’t even get the wild card? Crazy how many wins the top of the AL has but the bottom 5 teams are so bad your top teams just padded their records. At least the NL had respectable lesser teams like the Reds and Padres who could compete somewhat

That's true. The AL had Detroit. Wow! Have you seen that line-up? (of glorified minor leaguers and past-their-prime vets).
