Science deniers, or something. I thought it was only MAGA people? Or the hordes of people complaining about the CDC new regulations (which somehow changed drastically in only 2 weeks).

To be fair, my wife is an avid mask wearer through most of the pandemic as she works in/out of nursing homes and was scared to take it back to them.
She still got COVID hard from a nursing home even though she was 100% of the time in mask and gloves while there.
She got it right at the height of the first wave last year in late April.
It's a favorite, and possibly the most stupid argument in the whole mask thing, Anything less than 100% effective means they don't work.

We need to stop caring if people are vaccinated or not. They had their chance. If they chose not to and end up sick, well, sorry about your luck.

Agreed. It seems to be the common boogie man argument from the people afraid to leave their houses. If you’re vaccinated, who cares about anyone else? And everyone in Congress could have been vaccinated 4+ months ago. If they want to risk it that’s on them.

Did I say masks don't work? I was just rebutting someone else's dumb anecdotal with another anecdotal to hopefully show them they shouldn't use anecdotals.
No, I was agreeing with you.

Kroger and Target saying they’ll continue requiring masks beyond June 2nd. Wonder how much that’ll be ignored.

The one thing everyone should agree to in the mostly absurd arguments over masks is that private companies have the right to require them. The marketplace will decide.

I haven't read up on this, in detail, but if you go into an establishment unmasked, are you going to get carded, like at the bar?
Vaccine carded? No.
The 3 Kroger around us that we go to most often haven't been enforcing the mask policy for a while, though there still seems to be about 99% compliance. It's one thing to require them once the mandate is lifted, but if you're already not enforcing it I can't see that lasting too long before they just give up.

Flip side, people vaccinated are thinking long term about their health and are smart. People not vaccinated are dumb and not thinking about their health...so maybe this is a perfect inticement to get them to do it lol
Was this post in jest or devils advocate?
I disagree on that sentiment if it was not satire

Reds going full capacity and no masks at GABP on June 2nd. Kinda looking forward to my first baseball game in almost 2 years.
