Had a sour ipa from Heart State Brewing. I had never heard of them before. It was very good.
Had a couple Rheingeist Truths.
They have become my favorite IPA.

Very Solid! Have you had Columbus Brewing Company Bodhi. Most people I know who enjoy Truth like Bodhi better.

I tried that a long time ago, but I’ll look for it again thanks to your suggestion.
Found some of the Bodhi. It's a little similar to the Truth, but I'm still partial to Truth.
I noticed that Bodhi is at 8%, while Truth comes in at 7%.
I also like Knowledge. It's a little harder to find. It is a whopping 9%!

Nice! Try Columbus Brewing Company Creeper as well. It comes in at 10% and is pretty enjoyable. I’m still partial to NE Style IPAs but appreciate a good west coast style every now and then.
I was in Louisiana over the weekend and got to try Ghost in the Machine IPA on draft. Damn is that good. When they do the DDH version next year it may be worth another visit to LA

Gonna be driving through Columbus on Friday afternoon and I’m thinking of stopping somewhere for a beer. What’s the best place to visit that’s easy on and off my route from Cincinnati to Newark (71N to 270 to 70E)?
combustion
I concur. On that route, Combustion is probably the best.
Cool, looks like an easy jaunt off of 70. I've never even heard of it.
I don’t drink a ton of winter seasonals but I really like Rhinegeist’s snow cat. I can’t get into the spruce tip IPAs at all. We’re going to Rhinegeist again next weekend and I’m looking forward to it.
Also went to Mad Tree last weekend for the first time and couldn’t believe how big it is. But not many of their beers do it for me. PsyHOPathy is always solid but other than that I’m out.
Good call. Started off with a saison.

Jai Alai IPA from Cigar City Brewing. Saw it on a story about "The most important IPAs in America", then saw it at a local store. Good enough to drink, but didn't find anything at all special about it.
