I have never been impressed with March First, but I did hear about the Red Cream Soda the other day and it sounds good.

My wife brought me back three 4-packs from Double Nickel Brewing from NJ. A hazy ipa, a kviek ipa, and a kettle sour. All have been good.

I have been on a sour/cider/seltzer kick lately.

I can’t see myself ever liking any of those. But years ago I never would be drinking IPAs, so…

For sours see if you can find any urban artifact. They are from Cincinnati and produce killer spurs.

For ciders try Mad Moon. They have some good flavors and it’s made in Gahanna, Ohio.

Urban Artifact is great for sour stuff. Dankhouse also makes killer sours.

Streetside in Cincinnati also makes great sours.

Picked up a bottle of Ardbeg 10 today...looking forward to cracking it in about 20 minutes.

Fun fact: My neighbor is the CFO of March First. I like their IPA, and their distillery actually makes a drinkable bourbon.

I would like to try those places.  I actually didn’t know that Southern Tier was Cleveland.

Currently enjoying a Fat Head Benjamin Danklin.

They’re originally out of New York. Lakewood or something like that, very western part. But they have taprooms in Cleveland, Charlotte, and Pittsburgh I believe.

A Jackie O's seasonal IPA called "Sing to the Sun". Pretty decent.

Had two yesterday while golfing. I wasn’t upset.

They’ve been out for weeks. I use to get mad but all the beer masters on Reddit claim they don’t sell after Halloween, which I could believe.

One of the beer stores near me is smaller so they probably don’t have a lot of stock room but they’ll post when they get in Octoberfest/pumpkin beers and say “better grab some before it’s gone til next year.” Its like you can’t order more in a month or two? We have to order it now - in august - to avoid missing out?

I was burned with this on Pumking a couple years ago. I didn’t want to order any in July so I waited and by the end of September it was all gone.

Not proud of this, and I'll quit once summer is over.  For the record, I've been sober for almost 6.5 years.  In that time, I never had a sip, including NA stuff.  Anyway, lately (mostly out of boredom and high stress ... killer combo) I've been sampling different NA stuff.  I've had Heineken 0.0 which I think is good.  Budweiser Zero which is terrible in comparison.  My last batch has been some Brewdog stuff, as well as Lagunitas IPNA.  Brewdog stuff is GREAT for an NA beer.  It's been forever since I've had a real beer, so I can't really compare.  Brewdog: Hazy AF, Elvis AF, Nanny State, and Punk AF.  Like them all.

I saw you posted on this thread and was worried.  Stay strong, seriously.

The Top is my favorite steakhouse in Columbus. They have a good bourbon selection if your into that.
