Dude, you're not the first on here to get into it with someone while drinking.

Someday, someone here will need to tell the story of a man named Gibby.

Also, I think ETB did it once, but it's all good.

Don't forget Tiernan when it comes to posting while drunk. That was one of his specialties.

Remembered him, but the name escaped me. Classic meltdown.

For whatever reason, Gibby's is the only meltdownS that I remember. He's had a handful of them IIRC.

Is this site supposed to be akin to the Onion?

This is a country which calls itself 'leader of the Free World' and has huge global influence in terms of foreign policy and economics. Now that Trump won't acknowledge basic things like climate change, it's time other countries had a say

“Such is the burden of a certain kind of resistance-media star today. After years of accruing followers, retweets, and Patreon donations with fevered speculation about the Mueller probe, they are facing the end of a gold rush—and they’re looking for their next opportunity.

Of course, not everyone in the left-of-center media universe has met the Mueller news with such weeping and gnashing of teeth. For years, leftists such as The Intercept’s Glenn Greenwald have accused Democrats of deploying Russia conspiracy theories to cover up for the failures of Clintonite liberalism in 2016. Now claiming vindication, Greenwald and his ilk have been beating their chests in triumph alongside the #MAGA crowd.

“I’m genuinely sorry if you spent the last 3 years believing a blatantly stupid partisan fairy tale ripped out of the pages of a primitive Tom Clancy novel & made it central to your worldview,” Greenwald tweeted, sounding less than genuinely sorry. “I get that it’s upsetting & disorienting when it got revealed as a hoax. Look inward.””

  • Attorney General Bill Barr plans to submit the full version of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation report to Congress by "mid-April, if not sooner," and will not give the White House a sneak peek, Fox News has learned.

This seems like it should be an April Fool's joke, but apparently, it's not:

Ocasio-Cortez falsely says GOP changed Constitution to block FDR re-lection

Geez, lady ...

Nevermind the fact that FDR was dead before the 22nd Amendment was even written by those in Congress (by almost 2 years).

The video at the top of the article points that out.  It does point out that, in all fairness, the 22nd Amendment was indeed in response to FDR's being elected four times, but rightly, it notes that it wasn't to prevent anything, as she claimed.

When she first rose to prominence, I was REALLY trying to give her the benefit of the doubt as being a bright person with views I just disagreed with, but it's getting harder to do that the longer she stays in the public eye.

Sadly, I am beginning to believe Sarah Palin was/is smarter than AOC. That's hard to believe.

I might still give AOC the slight edge based on some of what she has to have retained from college, but they're looking more and more like they're in the same camp.

Good comparison.  They both seem to have a similar grasp on the complex issues affecting our world.  Maybe Tina Fey can play AOC as well as Palin.

No way.  AOC is awful, I'll agree.  But Sarah Palin was horribly clueless and belongs in the same category.  The fact that she could have been a heartbeat away from the big chair is terrifying.

The fact she could have been a heartbeat away from the big chair probably played a sizable role in Obama beating McCain.
