Regarding the transgender issue, here's one comment that I read on another forum:

(Paraphrasing) "Yet there are State Athletic Associations that sanction girls wrestling against boys on the High School mat, and parents who encourage their daughters to do so."

It was a while back so I don't recall the specific intent of that comment, but I think it was along the lines of "Mom and Dad will let her wrestle a boy, but get upset if she gets beat by a "boy" in the 200 meter dash.

Anyone care to comment on that point of view?

Not the same. The girls choose to wrestle against the boys in the OHSAA state tourney. OTOH, there has been a state tournament for girls in Ohio the last couple of years. Now if boys or boys who became girls were allowed to compete, it's apples to apples.

Inventing an issue where there isn't one.

Disagree.  Title IX will be diminished due to this, sad really

OHSAA will sanction it next year.

As for the wrestling, I feel like if a girl chooses to wrestle against the boys, she should be made to compete the entire season in those competitions.

Funny how track and field and running events are used literally 100% of the time to try and push this agenda.  A nice non contact sport.

Just wait till 6'5" Johnny plays girls basketball and dunks all over the place.  The boys playing girls sports will end quickly

I think that here are a "handful", I'm aware of Texas and California for sure.

There are a lot of colleges that have female wrestling. Most are at the JC, NAIA, and D3 level. I don't know any at D1, but there could be.

Ohio's girl wrestling is not sanctioned by the OHSAA (yet).

I personally have no issue with females playing male sports, biologically I can't think of any physical advantage, anyone?  Maybe floor routine in gymnastics?

I really don't have an issue if no female sport exist and a female want to play on the high school hockey team for example, that is why I asked about wrestling

Over half the country now.  It's the fastest growing HS sport in the US.

I've seen several instances of trans girls smoking the competition at various HS track and field state championships. It's definitely happening. It definitely shouldn't be.

Just ignore it.

I guess it's more of a real topic than I thought. I know it exists, but I just thought it was very rare, and it seemed like a grandstanding issue for pols.

Just waiting for Dems to require a vaccine passport to vote.  That should be a fun debate!

No idea where to put this, but LMFAO.  Public servant RBG was made to be a goddess celebrity in nearly all liberal circles, but NOW we should be concerned about a justice signing a book deal?

How about stop glorifying all public servants?

In other terrible “journalism”, this guy from the WAPO wrote an article telling Tim Scott (who’s grandfather did pick cotton) that his black family wasn’t poor enough.

Yeah, but if Tim Scott IDENTIFIES as growing up poor shouldn't that be enough?

I think you can see how woke the Democratic party really is by the way their media propagandists treat black Republicans.

Wtf are you talking about. People say monies all the time, having nothing to do with black people. Weird that’s what you got out of the post.

Why would you say that? What would be the consequences of saying that with "brothers" in the room?

President Biden once referred to candidate Obama as "the first mainstream African American candidate who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice looking guy."  Biden firmly told a black popular radio personality that "you ain't black" in reference to voting for him or Trump.  You voted for this guy.  Help me understand the selective offense.

Also help me understand the slang term "get that monies" relative to slavery.  Is there a problem with white people picking up slang originating in black pop culture?  Is the melding of cultures a bad thing?

As for the term "nut low" I can't recall ever hearing it used.  I like it.  I'd like to add it to my vocabulary.  Will I be ok using it with "brothers" in the room?

Nut low is a poker term referring to the lowest hand

i could care less if you use slang talk unless you are using it to make fun of someone and make them seem inferior.

Biden saying you aint black has nothing to do with this conversation

You’re very dense. I would say “gimme my monies” after winning a bet, fantasy football, etc. Your calls of racism are dumb. Also, that woman IS dumb and inferior.
