Regardless if you agree or not, I respect Massie for sticking to his guns on this issue (no pun intended towards the post above) and not caving to the crowd because he has his principles and knows the law.

He refuses to act like the democrats.

Been saying it for years.

There's Massie, then there's everyone else.

So, Biden has said that we are going to build a railroad from the Pacific all the way through the Indian Ocean.

Does Congress have to approve that first?

At least he didn’t say that China was going to pay for it

Biden has a child-like fascination with 19th century technology (trains).  But totally not a sign of dementia!

Ptown will never admit he was wrong about Biden’s cognitive impairment.

I'll say it again - there's no reason for Hunter running a consulting business to have all these LLCs.

And there's no reason he'd need an account at this bank to get paid his board fees with Burisma.  On the contrary, someone of Hunter's profile and wealth wouldn't just hand over that information to someone to open the account for him, nevermind even doing business at that bank once you did your diligence.

Maybe it's all nothing more than just Hunter trying to cheat on his taxes.  But if you're going to break the law on influence pedaling, might as well go all-in on the felonies.

Guarantee Joe pardons him on his way out the door.

Although they are only misdemeanors, with Hunter paying like $100k he should have owed in taxes.  However, those numbers don't really mesh with the $20-$30M in income Comer was claiming.

I don't think it's over yet, but it's usually pretty tough to prove corruption after the fact.  You can find the money, and maybe they have, but the only crime that proves is maybe tax evasion.

If he plead down to willful failure to pay federal incomes taxes, you can surmise it started with tax fraud, wire fraud, and money laundering.

Another sweetheart deal affirming our two sets of justice.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the Repubs to find evidence of greater crimes.

The key here is to score political points off Hunter while not killing the golden goose of influence peddling many on both sides of the aisle engage in.

The party who wants harsher gun laws apparently don’t actually care about the current gun laws. Never give an inch.

At times, you actually get the impression people are starting to catch on to this. Went on Twitter a bit ago and saw one of the trending buzzwords is "Do something about it". Clicked on it and saw it was mainly derived from right-wingers in response to the predictable R politician twitter-ing after the deal about there being two justice systems and all that.

Suppose that's one of the hazards of parties always playing to their base. The voters who make up those bases aren't the ones getting rich off the influence peddling and convincing suckers -- I mean voters -- to send them donations, so it's only a matter of time before they start to get really impatient with how all these high-profile allegations against opposition political figures seem to wind up leading to very little in the long run, no matter how big a game gets talked beforehand.

True.  At least in this case Comer's committee is actually doing all the digging and the more they dig the more it looks like a definite bribery /extortion/money-laundering/tax evasion scheme.  If R's did not have the House majority, none of this would now be known, at least to the level of detail they are laying out.  Obviously 90% of the media is in the tank for the dems, so they refuse to air any of this and thus half the people don't even know about it.  If they did, pressure would build to 'do something about it'.  So, as the article below points out, it is now the FBI's turn to have to answer the question, "what are THEY doing about all of the clear evidence?"  Comer can't arrest the bidens, or charge them with crimes; the FBI/DoJ has to do that.  And as we're learning, there are 2 sets of justice in this banana republic right now.
