You understand there is a difference in banning books and being age appropriate. Same reason school computers have web filters on it. Google the book Gender Queer and let me know if you think it should be in school libraries.

Schools K-12 and even universities are still banning it this year. They are not claiming age appropriate content as the reason.

The comic at the Correspondents dinner last night said anti-CRT is an effort to "erase black people from history".   That's quality gas-lighting.

Granted, I haven't looked at a grade school history book since I was in school, but I seem to remember black history month and learning about Carver, Tubman, MLK Jr and scores of others.  No one is trying to erase that.

CRT is not about highlighting black contributions, it's about framing everything within the context of "institutional racism" and "white privilege". To what end, exactly, I'm not sure.

Because it is inherent in current CRT dogma that for black people to "win", white people have to lose. Funnily enough, CRT in its origins was utilized much differently than it currently is. The ideologues are managing to wreck it up, just like they are actively doing to definitions of words. 

Matt Taibbi - the journalist that was central to the Twitter files - is still going strong releasing information exposing the collusion between government agencies and the Biden administration. Since this all started the government and its media propaganda outreach machine has threatened him with imprisonment, sent IRS agents to his house and has done everything under its power to discredit him. If this keeps up it is only a matter of time before he will be forced to flee this country and live in a foreign embassy.

And, oddly enough, Biden last night was digging all over Fox about lying.  Umm, you orchestrated the discrediting of the Hunter Biden laptop story.  Also, pretty much all the media lies about as often as Fox, it's just that 1) people often confuse opinion and editorials with fact and 2) people tend to just accept lies as fact if they're inclined to agree with it.

Also, I don't watch Tucker Carlson or Hannity, but have seen enough tidbits because if I don't turn the channel after The Five to know those guys frequently say "I'm not a journalist".  Which is a stark contrast to everyone on CNN and MSNBC, even though many of them are just leftwing versions of those two.

Can you refute the claims being made in this tweet in reference to the stack of books pictured in the article? Is he wrong in his characterization of these books? I honestly don't know, and you seem to have knowledge on the subject so I'm hoping you can clear it up for me.

Also, I haven't followed close enough to know. Are these books being banned from being sold in the state? Or just being banned from libraries? And if they are being banned from libraries, is it all libraries or just school libraries?

If a parent wanted to expose their kids to these books, do they have that ability?
