333 - I'm only half evil

Mon, Jul 9, 2018 7:53 PM

First of all, my whole post was my own words not from some article, conservative, liberal or progressive. To be fair, it's my own assessment of looking at it from all three perspectives and my own lived experiences.

My family is not only white, but it's black and brown too. Much of my perspective on these issues is from direct communication with these family members over years and years. I was born with black and brown people in my family, from all over the US, not just locally. This is not just interactions at a grocery store. This is my whole life. In other words I am not a disinterested party. I can only advise you to be very careful in your assumptions in people. That's a huge part of the problem.

If you want to point out that it's hard for black sports players to buy a house in LA, I can easily point out how hard it is rich white movie stars to be allowed to buy an apartment/condo/co-op in NYC and other large cities. There are places that make rich white people submit years of financial documents and tax information, outrageous application fees, background checks and the boards of these buildings can still deny them. So what would you call that? White on White crime? Counter-White-Supremacy? Wealth Oppression? That's not a good example to try and use, geeblock lol!

Sometimes people just don't get what they want, when they want it or where they want it, and it doesn't matter what color their skin is or how old they are or what their religion (if any) is or what their sexuality is. Sometimes people are just shit out of luck and it affects their lives in one way or another.

I do find it unironically funny that I partially agree with you about one topic (drug crimes - super predators) and you don't acknowledge it. Interesting.

What protests are white males not allowed to have? What is this protest that singles out white males?

Umm... free speech and free expression marches? Not that this is an exclusive white issue, it is an issue for everybody. But somehow it's always construed as an alt-right event, white supremacy event or some sort of aggression against minorities, even when there are PoC involved. People who try to participate in even simple speeches often have mortars thrown at them, get their heads bashed open, doxxed, fired from their jobs, etc. At this point even the most progressive lefties are starting to call it out.

Next?

I think racism still exists, I'm not stupid nor do I live in some fantasy world. But not every damn thing is about racism and there's a danger to say that everything involves racism. That's the jist of everything I've posted today.

Seems like a nitty take. Really splitting hairs there my guy

Not at all. When you misidentify the cause of a problem, you have zero chance of a solution.

I need examples or links that don’t involve white supremists. I may have missed these people being persecuted over free speech. Especially ones that have people of color. Free speech isn’t even a white male issue.  Also how do the black people in your family react to these hot takes? Are they the ones who are starting to like Candace Owens lol Who gets to decide if something is racist or not?

Which obviously means they aren't "real" black people, right?

He or someone the other day said black people are starting to buy in to Candace Owens and I absolutely believe that that isn’t true and that he has blacks in his family who like her. I don’t believe it. Are there blacks that follow her and like her? Sure they exist. It’s a small number

I don’t think if you like Candace Owens you’re not a real black. I just think it’s a very small number of people.

Sure, it's likely a small percentage of black people as blacks tend to lean Democrat, heavily. The way you name dropped her made it seem like you didn't believe their opinions are relevant, I apologize for assuming that's what you meant.

Nah. Candace Owens is a pretty new face and says some stupid things sometimes. But she is entertaining.

My family members who are PoC don't react in any black or white way. They're just people who have their own opinions about things just like white people have their own opinions about things. They are not models for "othering" themselves, if that's what you're looking for. They don't see themselves as victims, don't have inherited memories of times and events they never experienced and have their own minds.
I know free speech isn't a white issue, but it's pointedly made out to be over and over. If you're so familiar with Twitterverse, as you claim, then you are well aware that free speech is said to be white supremacy, is violence and is based on colonialism.

Person of color who was harrassed as a white supremacist and called a nazi for supporting free speech? Perfect examples are Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai and Tim Pool. People such as Sowell or Elder are called tokens, house negroes, uncle toms because they support free speech. This s well documented stuff.

Just doing a simple and easy google search about democrats in power saying overtly racist stuff will bring you quotes such as...

Joe Biden: "Obama is a clean and articulate black man"

Harry Reid: "Obama has a chance of winning because he is light-skinned and doesn't speak with a negro dialect".

A dictionary sufficiently and efficiently defines racism.

I don’t think that you talk like a person that is close to any people of color.  U don’t sound like u have any understanding of issues that they may face. Especially when you talk about the Justice system. That’s my opinion. Who knows. I don’t think a white Person should ever tell a person of color what is racist and what isn’t. Or explain to them what racism is.  Just like I wouldn’t try to tell a woman about rape or sexual harassment.I didn’t bring up your family you did. I guess to add some type of credibility to your narrative that you are pushing. I also shoul say I’m not a democrat by the way.

Your assessment of th justice system is laughable. Tweaks? I love how you also got a jab at dems lol. Blacks are over prosecuted and overcharged and given longer sentences than whites for the same crimes. Blacks and Latinos are 50  percent more likely to have their car searched at a traffic stop. I could go on.

As far as housing did you not see how hard it was for the black charger players who have millions of dollars to buy a house in la? I’m not taking gentrification I’m talking about white people not wanting blacks to move into their neu

All these issues are real things that affect peoples lives. Not fake perception that you are being targeted for being white when you aren’t. Your takes all come from an extremely conservative article

Anyway my original questions still stand? What are the DISADVANTAGES of being white?

What protests are white males not allowed to have? What is this protest that singles out white males?

Also are you saying you would rather be black or Mexican right now? Cmon man be honest you working way to hard to just say things have gotten better but we have a way to go. It really is that easy

Any sources, links or data to back up your racist pile of bullshit?

And still my original point stands. There are no disadvantages to being white. White males aren’t having their free speech oppressed. The only protests that catch backlash are racists ones. Even the supposed ones that have poc there which I tried to google but couldn’t find

You haven't been to a university lately, have you?

My original point stands as well.  White males aren't afforded any additional rights that other demographics don't have.  The main difference is you think there is a mass effort to keep black people down, while most of us on this forum don't see that in this day and age.

Oh hey! I don't portray myself in a way that makes me look like I have black people in my family. Hah!

There's a litmus test of sorts that people have to pass now, eh? That's funny!

Race-baiting has sure changed over time. tsk

Outside of the milo guy I am unaware of other white males having problems speaking at colleges but I am willing to learn.
