You're going to see it this way...we get it.  Measuring something that really isn't measurable, but okay fine.  The far right has been beating this drum for a long time.  According to the story, the media is filled with elite liberals.  You guys also claim to have known this for a long time.  So why keep pointing out something that is supposedly obvious, entrenched, and proven?

It is problematic because they are supposed to be the watchdog of government; instead they have become the lap dog of BIG government and complicit in covering up the current corruption at the DoJ and FBI.  When their bias causes them to fail in their job and their duty, then yes, it should be pointed out relentlessly until it changes, for the better, for The People.

Yea its pretty measurable.  Matter of fact....if you have anything better than a monkey brain you can objectively tell if they are reporting news with a anti right slant.

You should at least post some sort of comment on the article when you link to something. This isn't the Drudge Report.

No comment is an improvement from the usual string of dumbass buzzwords that they post in place of rational thought

There are literally thousands of sources of news in this day-in-age, thousands.  The beauty of modern times is that you can go to those sources that you believe are objective - or at least agree with your worldview.

Very few, if any, are unbiased or without an agenda.  Your bloggers and small-time sources, if they don't regurgitate work from the mainstream media, often practice questionable journalism and ethics trying to be relevant.  Anything with real merit usually gets picked-up by the mainstream (yes, all of it - they all eventually come to agree on the "facts", bias in the mainstream media usually comes with what they emphasize and how much coverage they give various issues).

The other funny thing is how the various sources attack other sources with differing points of view.  You often hear Fox is "in the bag for Trump", and it's been a while but their coverage of Trump has actually been signficantly more negative than it was of Obama.  But it's still only half of the unhinged liberal media's negative coverage of Trump....which for some qualifies as being "in the bag".

No I'm not.  The liberal media boogey man has been around for decades according to the right.  And yet conservatives such as yourself continue to inform themselves of the reality of things as they see them.

The point is not whether I can go search the internet and hope to find an obscure media outlet that tells it like it is - fair and balanced.  The point is, the major (main)-stream media has an OBLIGATION - A DUTY - to be the watchdog of government............and they are NOT fulfilling this DUTY, unless it suits their political agenda.

Hahah just read a CNN article where, and I quote, “26 year olds face challenges as they fall off parents health coverages”.... get a fucking job morons. At worst you are 21 when you graduate college with an undergrad degree. 22 with an advanced degree. People are such victim loving losers. Get a degree in something valuable not in communications. Link to prove its’ true someone is dumb enough to write it

It's not a boogey man. It's something that even liberals and lefties have been acknowledging in the past year.

Also I'd like to point out that wikileaks actually blew the roof off of this issue for anybody who was bothered by the right's "boogeyman". It should be a dead horse that everybody continues to beat on until mainstream is increasingly held accountable and actual results are seen.

And look, we can sit here all day long and state how there are hundreds/thousands of independent small news sources but let's not joke ourselves by believing that mainstream media doesn't have the largest impact in the general public.

You know, I've never been a fan/supporter of Bernie Sanders or any part of the progressive movement devouring the democrat party. But the more of think of the whole scenario and what Hillary Clinton and the DNC did to him, I have to admit that I have some sympathy for the guy. I still think his political philosophy is junk, but that doesn't excuse what happened.

If anyone else decent had wanted to oppose Hillary, Bernie would have gotten nowhere.

But "free stuff" is powerful for millenials.  Most don't seem to want to pay for much of anything - internet, healthcare, music, movies, college, etc... Opinions usually change when people start making money and realize what a shitload in taxes they're paying.

Bernie is a clown.  Not only did the dems screw him and he still supported them.  He continues to caucus with them knowing he isn't getting anything from him.

As a political hack... He could/should support pub policy and get something.

LOL! at CNN for being upset that FOX news is reporting on the Mueller investigation and possible ramifications of the texts between Peter Strzok and Lisa page while Brian Stetler is round-mouthing CNN's political agenda. At this point I'm just going to take for granted that FOX > CNN.
Both have their own political propagandas but at this point CNN is a catastrophe.

I used to like CNN.  Completely unwatchable now.

Caught a little bit yesterday.  They were practically fighting back tears talking about Mueller exonerating Trump.  Granted, Trump is probably lying about that....but they were just beside themselves trying to explain why it couldn't possibly be true, and if it doesn't happen how Trump will have a "historic meltdown".

It sure seems like the liberal media isn't even trying any more.  You want to say something mean or make-up some other fake news, just says "sources told me".  No one seems to care any more if those sources are actually real or not.

Happened to catch the first two minutes or so of Don Lemon last night .....simply pathetic.

I also sent an email to Froma Harrop, syndicated columnist, regarding her disastrous and completely erroneous opinion piece last week regarding who deserved credit for the resurgence in the economy.  The trash being spewed is amazing.
