Sounds like a tailgate party is in order. -
THE4RINGZI am down with meeting up prior to the scrimmage. They usually have a chicken bbq before our home scrimmage, but I am not sure if that is the case this year due to it being on a Friday.
The good news is that if 1_beast comes, he can bring the sandbags for us to sit on. -
1_beastlol...funny guy. Now come on!!! Everyone KNOW Waynedale graduated a Ton of talent...this might be a rough year. Looks like the League is shaping up to be another race. Dalton, Northwestern, Norwayne all return depth...Smithville was on fire to end last year. Hillsdale has learned to win. Rittman has loooked to turn things around, getting a few injured guys back. Chippewa and Waynedale...the lost teams in the mix, fighting for the basement.

I'M WITH U -
thePITmanI'm in.
Beast, you going to the Waynedale/Tuslaw/West Holmes scrimmage at West Holmes? I'm pretty sure I am. We play all three teams in the regular season. See you there? -
1_beastMore than likely i'll be there..but my "day" planner is just that...lol i usually plan a day ahead of time.
-
dhs22pAny Rittman people out there know if they are going to a white helmet? Chippewa's should be different as well.
-
beverboy1hey 1 beast r u doing the pick em contest this yr
-
panthers14I have heard that Chippewa will be changing their helmet and dark uniforms. I don't know to what, I was talking to my old wrestling coach who is now over there coaching football and he said they were making a few changes.
-
1_beastI'll do the pick em if i have too...but i think Pitman would do it better

The cupboard can always be filled- as long as the pantry's stocked! -
THE4RINGZNope if Beast says the Bears are going to be thin and young and won't win more than a few games that is the gospel. He would never try to mislead us loyal readers of the truth from The Creek.
-
THE4RINGZHey Dalton fans: I just got word that prior to the Dawns v. Titans scrimmage on 8/20/10 the booster club is having their annual chicken bar b q. Instead of tailgating maybe we can all meet up there and enjoy some delicious chicken processed within your school district.
I can hook you up with per sale tickets and save you a buck or two. PM me if you want me to get you a ticket and we can go from there. -
Red RumThis just in.....2010 Waynedale Scouting Report
"A new incoming batch of cornfed boys with mostly amish surnames will replace the graduated outgoing batch of cornfed boys with mostly amish surames"
take it to the bank, folks. My source, Samwise Yoder is never wrong!!! -
THE4RINGZIs Samwise Yoder Eli's brother or Chacob's brother. I always get those two confused.
-
1_beasti chuckled...
-
thePITmanNothing better than Marty's Chicken to kick off the football season! I hope to see lots of fans from both schools at the BBQ!
-
1486wdi guess if "marty" gets his chicken from Gerber's, we may be able to come
-
Red RumI think the chicken is coming from Hillshire farms. GO MEAT!!!!
-
fb167Not to interupt the tailgating plans but I need help, I am trying to find out who were the head coaches at Chippewa from 2000 - 2009. I have found so far three names: Wickard, Wagner, Hessey; but I don't know who coached what years. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
-
THE4RINGZThe Doylestown Public Library might have copies if the CHS yearbooks for those years in their genealogy department
-
fb167Thanks
-
1486wddid they ever find a boys hoops coach?
-
fb167Yes, Tim Lucey he was an assistant coach at Hoban High School.
-
RedRider1fb....
2000 - Brian Hessey (6-4)...this was the last of his first 5 years as Chipp coach. He was 25-27 from 1996-2000.
2001-2004 - Nolan Wickard (16-24)
2005-2006 - Brian Wagner (former Browns Punter) (5-15)
2007-2009 - Brian Hessey (7-23)
And you thought I only knew about Orrville. Shame on you.
Glad to help.
