  haha fun stuff to wake up to. Every school in the WCAL has excelled on the state academic test scores except one. Rittman still is at the bottom but right along side that fine institution of learning in Orrville. Maybe the fact they both share the same superintendent is what is holding Rittman back???? Sports are great but if that is the only thing you can be proud at your school, you got bigger problems than anyone can fix.

  I may be a little hard on some Orrville fans, but I don't want anyone to think I paint them all with the same brush. Some are top notch class acts, like the guy with the very informative website and many others. It's just a few like QB boy & 5turds that are blowhards.
  
  Getting back to the WCAL, Hillsdale is the team to beat. They are plain and simple better than the other seven. Nice combo of size, speed and power. I think they will make the playoffs but in Region 18 they won't survive long......since I'm not far removed from the topic of blowhards, Man! Northwestern has them in spades. In fact, they take the prize (over Wadsworth) as biggest know nothing, loud mouth fans I've seen this year. One of their number was outside the locker room after the Dalton game taking credit for the victory....same guy who stood out there at the only other NW game I was at passing out blame. The fat guy in the stands who does all the yelling needs to shut up, I recognized him as a Wayne County area delivery truck driver. Sad state of affairs up in Lattasburg. A few bad apples are spoiling it for everyone.........Dalton & Waynedale, on the other hand should be extremely proud of their fans. Very nice people who treated opposing fans with grace and class.

  Smithville is without one of their tackles this week Paul Kelbley, lost him in practice to a knee injury, dosen't seem real serious, but still doing tests.

  3 posts and you wanna pick a fight with NW fans-who travel better than any other WCAL team! We are all critics-heck even some of us played football at one time or another and have some skin in the game.
  
  As for you calling out our favorite Wayne county delivery guy-come over tonight (at halftime) and introduce yourself to him. He's really a big Teddybear-but I'm not- I'll be the one curb-stompin your punk-ass!

  Also, you guys would have a different quarterback starting for you right now if A. Wallace moved there, or B. Bates didn't move away. So I wouldn't go bashing all of the talent. Smithville will play Orrville next year, get it done!! I have talked to RR1 about it before, Schrock and co. are interested.
  
  I am gonna go with the upset tonight, Smithville over the Huskies.

  Tell your Teddy Bear not everyone appreciates his big fat mouth and he should exercise some restraint for the greater good. Hey, I've got an idea, ask all NWN fans who enter the stadium if they enjoy his ranting. I'll bet most of them don't. Most Husky fans have class, it's just a vocal minority that makes everyone look bad. Good luck tonight.
  
  On the subject of curb stomping me.......won't happen. I don't pay much attention to toothless hillbilly brawlers who can't defend their position verbally so they go all tough guy. Also, please don't go home and beat your wife cause your mad at me. ITS NOT HER FAULT--GET COUNSELING!!!

  Bloody ToothBrush, I never once said that WCAL fans didn't know anything about football! How about you learn how to read a post before you come attacking. Did I ever ask you about Strongsville, UH NO! Yes they are a Division I team, but what have they done in the playoffs?? I don't see them having the success that Orrville has had.
  
  I also wouldn't be talking about classy posters, because you yourself aren't one my friend. Who talks about a guys mom blowing the entire WCAL, how is that classy. Where are you from my friend?
  
  
  And Mr. Russell, Smithville will never play Orrville. I know their was talk of it, but the only time the two teams will play in football is a 7 on 7 scrimmage before the season starts.

  I hate to say it, but I have to agree with Bloody on the Northwestern issue. Gee, I hope my a** doesn't get curb stomped. The Huskies do have a slight problem with over zealous fans. Especially the "Fat Guy". Its just a few though, most are ok. Go Huskies!!!! take care of business!!!!

  It looks like any proverbial trip to the woodshed is required......never said I was classy, I just tell the truth and right after you said you didn't ask me about Strongsville...You asked me how they did in the playoffs. You really tend to trip over your own words (must be that Orrville diploma).
  
  Anyway, I see the education system failed you and for that I'm truly sorry. Hopefully you can get a job at Orr Park raking the diamonds or cleaning the water fountains. I hear O-ville takes care of its own.
  
  P.S-(1)The stangs always seem to run into St. Iggys in the 1st round-the answer to your question and (2) no the Riders couldn't hang with Strongsville so you don't need to ask. (3) You know, I like you Orr Boy QB, so keep in touch--much love & I'm out.

  Mr. Miyagi has been patiently reading the posts from the last 2 weeks and this is what Mr. Miyagi has learned
  1 Dalton is not who we thought they were and cannot play catchup once they get down in the 1st quarter
  
  2 Rittman is who we thought they were and likely wont be contenders this year
  
  3 Northwestern wants to fire their coach unless he does what they suggest and if anyone disagrees with them (Red Rum, Huskie dad, Mr Miyagi) they delete their posts and take their ball and go home
  
  4 Smithville has the best offensive line in the WCAL..... but they dont..... we all know that .
  
  5 Waynedale platoons players and evidently doesnt have their best 11 on the field at 1 time , and they are the best 0-7 team out there....... they will win 1 or 2 before this season is over
  
  6 Bloodytoothbrush has awaken the WCL thread. Thank you and welcome
  
  7 orrqb08 mom has blown everybody in the WCAL ( he didnt deny it) and WCAL football couldnt hang with Orrville like Orrville couldnt hang with WCAL accademics
  
  8 Red Rums predicts winners and losers every week and allthough we can tell he is a Huskie fan he is also very bias, and Miyagi commends you for that Rum

  The weird thing is bloody, I have worked for the city of Orrville as summer help since I was a sophomore in high school. So for you to say that it is really weird Haha. Let's just move on as long as you apologize for that statement about my mom, that was uncalled for. Lol

  Since the entertaining Mr Miyagi has chimed in, BRF will now enter to say that Orrville posters should have just stayed off of here this week. It serves no purpose to dish out slams on the wcal. If you say stuff on their thread, then you should know that it is going to be slung right back (and some very good sling backs, too, BRF might add, except for the mom comment!). We need to mind our own business and take care of tonight's matter. BRF hopes that all the wcal OC chatterers have a fun night!

  Dalton isn't who we thought they were? They are exactly who Chatter has called them all season. A very talented team that will struggle if injuries happen. I think the Dalton posters don't respond because we knew that already. Miyagi is right, we will struggle if we don't start coming out in the 1st half. NW the best travelling team? Time will tell, they are inconsistent at best and seemingly having a civil war in their own ranks between the parents, coaches, and kids at worst. Don't think they can win out with all that negativity. Hillsdale has the goods this year. Cudos, but, at risk of sounding sour grapes, really hate to play on the hill. Fans and announcer. We have had that arguement here before. All the teams have their share of idiots in the stands...wish they would all think before opening mouths. Mostly parents trying to justify their kids mistakes.
  Orrville is Orrville...nuff said.

  Just heard the Bears have suspended up to four starters for tonight and next week. That could be a big problem on an already young team. Anyone who goes can you confirm? At least the coach(s) don't want to overlook bad behavior even when you are trying to get that first win.

  Dalton takes Rittman 35-7. Scored twice in 1st quarter, once more before half. Bauman and Turbeville very fine players, have definitely improved.
  Might go sneak a peek at Orrville/Ashland postings to see what our crashers have to say tonight.

  I just think that it is ridiculous that when you are over 30 points down in the fourth quarter and you have been playing the opposing teams JV. That you should put your JV in. I mean I don't think that your varsity gains confidence scoring on JV and freshmen. I mean don't get me wrong, it is great for our young players to gain the experience from playing against varsity. But it is senseless. Have had a couple of teams do this, this falls on the coaching staff not the players.

  Ashland would of beaten any WCAL team 60+ to 0. But no WCAL team would schedule that kind of competition....

  Falcon, I agree with what you're saying about teams leaving the varsity in, but Im not sure I like the idea of having freshman on the field against varsity starting Jr's and Sr's, unless the freshman is an early blooming stud. The last 2 weeks I've seen this, some teams always want to score (smithville called TO with seconds left in the game last week and waynedale onside kicked the ball tonight). I don't have a problem with Tommy putting JV's on the field, I just dont want to see any of our future talented freshman getting hurt against bigger and physically maturer kids.
