What happened nut, did you get booted from the other site? I ponied up 12 bucks just to listen at ya!
Wade my friend YES I did. They kindly showed me the door! But I will give them this, they at least gave me my money back.

And yes I know I post too much. It is a die hard high school football fan addiction!

Over at what I affectionately now like to call NaziHuddle.com I got a very nice post from JJ himself it read as follows

"You have been banned for the following reason:
    Spamming

Date the ban will be lifted: Never"

This was after I paid my 12 bucks to spew this garbage I write. Here is what happened. I was gripping about them going pay. A friend on there told me about freehuddle.com. Another guy on one of our threads was gripping about having to pay. I wrote "You should take a look at f r e e h u d d l e. c o m I guess, there you don't have to pay". I mentioned it that ONE time! Once then I decided oh heck -what is 12 bucks, and I payed. Two days later I get that message and was banned for life!

To their credit though, I Emailed them and low and behold I got this

"RoyalNut your subscription has been canceled and refunded through paypal.

    [email protected]"

But, and I am not sure if this good or bad. But I bet the NSP vs Wynford thread over there got real quiet. I think I was the only Wynford poster at the time.

    So to answer your question
YES I was BANNED for being a bad boy. aw shucks. Reminded me of being back in school and hearing your name over the PA system. You knew it was not good news.

LOL thinking about it-if that did happen-You usually knew what it was for too! RUT-ROW!

I have seen them both play..... and I can pretty much say there is no way in h_ll Wynford holds NSP to less then 35 points. Now if Brause and crew can tag SP for that many or more then we will have a game. Looking like SP 35-14 or 21 is a pretty good bet. It will take a down game by the flyers and a perfect game by BW to pull this one off. Just ain't going to happen, way too much disipline from SP to let that happen

If DSJ wasn't so amazing, I'd pick NSP for the D6 title right now, even over MSML.
Next week should be the 4 score difference you are looking for.
This should be less than a two score game.

On paper I agree with you, a solid 4 quarters of football should get a maybe 3 touchdown margin, but... I also remember what happend last year in the regional final, when St Paul had a really big edge in most peoples opinion, and had a nightmare defensive night against a good team. Similar scenario, different opponent. A 2nd chance for a state berth.
  • underdog32
Good point Arnold. Anything can happen. St. Paul was IMHO the best team in D6 last year and look what happened in the regional final game. Anything can happen and both teams are very good.

I'm really curious as to what Wynford game you saw? Because i think we do hold you to under 35. As long as we limit possessions, which is I am betting what the game plan will be. I think if we get in a shoot out with you guys we are in trouble. But I have a feeling that will not happen.

Got my Saturday all planned...1. get up and fake a few things on the honey do list 2. watch OSU beat Michigan and drink some beer. 3. Head to Ashland to drink more beer. 4. Watch NSP beat Wynford 5. Drink another beer to celebrate. I'm thinking a GL Dortmunder will be in order. AHHHH....life is good.

    Sunday...get back on my 12 step program.:D

That sounds like an excellent plan! My only hope, and I am sure you will understand my point of view. And not that I wish any ill will in the world. But I really hope activity #4 gets scratched, and #5 changes to crying in that beer instead.

    side note
WOW how about that Coldwater vs St. Henry game 4 OT's
They ran 160 offensive plays from scrimmage in that game.

And another thing, I almost wish these two teams were not in the same region. Because I think this game keeps one of the 4 best teams in D-6 ball from making it to state. Either way this shakes out.

And RoyalBuck! See ya at the game!

Nut, I saw the Bucyrus game. And I remember thinking at the time, if Wynford plays SP later they better shore up that D, SP has way too many weapons to defend.

Re: Last years regional final...Brown Had perfect game and not one pass was dropped. And St paul was off on D. Like I said, it will take the same type of game tonight for BW to beat the Flyers. Not far fetched but not likely.....but that's why they play the game. If HL played the game the played in Finals vs SP, the Flyers are in the finals to get popped by DSJ and not HL.....IMHO

Good luck OSU,Good luck both Royals and Flyers.
Here's to a double victory today OSU & NSP.
  • Jawz83
Did anyone notice Steuby vs Dover has 1365 posts? WOW. Nut, I agree that its a shame St. Henry and Coldwater are in the same region because that would have been a great finals game.

There have been some tweaks on Defense since that game. The Bucyrus game. And they have proved to be for the better. I will be shocked if you run on us. But we are susceptible to the pass, and your QB has a freaking gun. And your receivers have some sticky hands. And that 86 kid (Wilde) can FLY, we cannot let him get behind us!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( I bet he gets a long TD- I can see that one coming). But having said that, there have been some changes on D that IMHO have made us much better on D then we were way back in Bucyrus game days. I was bummed for Bucyrus, that was a decent team that lost to Galion and Us and it did em in as far as playoffs went. Not sure they would have went anywhere in the playoffs, but they had some decent players. Their program is on an upswing.

But not just Rah Rahing here, Our D is much better then it was then. Our first round playoff game was against Dalton, teams had run on us all year. We just out scored them. But late in the year then agaist Dalton they had one 800 yard rusher (QB) and two 1000 yard rushers. We put on the clamps. Our D stepped up and played lights out! We did it to HL too, until we got a big lead, and you could see our kids were giving limited effort and watching the clock. I did not like that-but we won. Is Our D great? I'm not sure? But we are about to find out TONIGHT???????????

Yes it is a shame about Coldwater and St. Henry but they are d-5. I think Patrick Henry wins against Coldwater next week by the way. I want a PH vs Ursuline Finals.

What I meant was a shame about Wynford and NSP and also DSJ and Ada.
IMHO these are the best four teams in D-6 of the eight that are left. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. And that is mine.

Congratulations Flyers!!! Good Luck next week.

It sounded like a very exciting game.

What a great game. Congrats to Wynford on a great season. I was glad to see St. Paul rise to the occasion and make the plays they needed to. It wasn't a perfect game, but they responded well to Wynfords scores. GO FLYERS! Win 2 more!

A great game by the Flyers and congrats to the Royals on a fine season. Also, kudos on the crowd. They were strong in numbers and very classy fans. Just the way I remember themk in hoops.

As far as the game goes, although the score doesn't indicate it, St. Paul had a couple of chances to put the game out of reach early in the 4th quarter. Wynford stood strong to the test and had a fine goal line stop and and pick in the endzone on the next possession. Field position was owned by the Flyers for most of the second half.

Statistically, St. Paul held a wide advantage as they ammassed over 400 yards of total offense to around 270 for Wynford.

This comment is to take nothing away from Tyler Brause because he is a fine football player and deserves all the accolades that he receives but another QB certainly showed tonight that he is worthy of A D 1 football scholarship and that is Eric Schweiterman. He was on target all night. He was 12-16 in the first half for about 150 yards and 2 TD's. Although he ended up athrowing 2 picks, he proved tonight he was an equal to Brause.

Props to Justin Wilde who rushed for over 100 yards on 12 tough carries. He is like the energizer bunny, takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

    2 More Flyers.....keep it rolling.
  • RoyalNut
Eric Schweiterman is ONE H_LL of a FOOTBALL PLAYER!
That kid has as good a arm as I have ever seen in high school at any level.

That first TD he threw into the front corner of the north endzone was undefensable. Our kid was in perfect position to make a play. But the ball was so on target no play could be made. That really was a thing of beauty.
