Smithville has had Aquinas on the schedule along with Mogadore, and Manchester!!! Hillsdale has had Delphos St. John (the Mac) on their schedule just a couple years ago!! Your dislike of the WCAL has blinded you to the facts!! lol

  The key word is "had" or "has played" Typical Wayne County, we will play you when we think we can beat you but as soon as you get better, we will drop you. I was at the Smithville game and was surprised as to how classless the PA announcer was at the end of the game.

Smithville had a had a 4 year deal with Mogadore and went 1-3 against them, played manchester 6 times and went 2-4 against them and had a two year deal with Aquinas and went 0-2, so much for your theory of only playing good teams when Smithville thinks they can beat them! hahahaha! You said the Pac was a "much" better league, then when the WCAL goes 5-1 against them you state that the WCAL is playing a weak schedule??? Make up your mind! I find it laughable that you are now picking on the PA announcer, since your prediction about Triway pounding Smithville did not come true. I think there might be a job in the Trump administration for you! lol

  I wish El Choppo would just admit he was wrong about Smithville. I do wish the PA announcer wouldn't have done what he did but if you're going to put TTTIO on the back of your helmets you're going to have to own it. I think the Smithville team will surprise a lot of people. They sure have surprised me so far!

  They put it on their helmets, you're right. But for the PA announcer to refer to them as that is classless. There is no other way to defend that. As far as Smithville goes, they won't win the league and won't make the playoffs

  I never said they would win the league. That will probably be a battle between Dalton and Norwayne for sure. If Smithville can get past Crestwood who has lost their first to games by a total of 115-14, they will be 3-0. Assuming we lose to Dalton and Norwayne we have 2 iffy games against Northwestern and Hillsdale. If they can stay healthy and beat the iffy teams they should finish 8-2 and that will put them in the playoffs.Health is the main factor, a couple of key injuries and a 8-2 season could turn into a 3-7. But as they say thats why we play the games.

  No one is defending what the PA announcer did. El choppo, your skill at predictions is not very reliable! lol. No one on here knows anything for sure, its High School kids playing a sport and there are many variables. I personally don't care who El Choppo routes for.... my intent was never to get him to agree with me, I just think when you make these bold and some times outrageous statements, you should be able to back it up with some facts! I too have stated that I thought Dalton would win the league this year, that being said, I also think Smithville will make the playoffs, the Smithies were very close to making it a year ago and they seem to be better this year.

  There you go again!!! El Choppo!! Crestwood was 9-1 and made the playoffs last year (when this deal was signed)!! No one knows for sure if a team is gonna be good or bad from year to year.

  Thank you old smithie, because I do not condone what he did. It would not have been so bad if he would have used both of our monikers, " the dirty thiry 25 and the toughest team in ohio 22. But the way it was done was unfortunate and the Triway fans had a right to be mad. But his actions should be held against those 30 kids.

  When you market yourself as such, you have to be prepared when things don't go your way. You set yourself up for people to say dumb things like what the PA announcer said. It does not make it right but the coach enabled it.

  Ok El choppo we get it!!! you don't like Smithville!!! Talk about beating a dead horse. By the way, 4 more WCAL/Pac 8 matchups this week!! I will make a guess that the WCAL goes 3-1. While we are on the subject, I have been to countless games in my 60 years on this Earth and believe me I have yet to run into an unbiased PA announcer, they are always with their "home" team.

  I attended the Triway/Waynedale game to check out the new coaches since Orrville was away.
  
  Waynedale needs a new coach. A real football coach. I've never seen a team so unorganized and poorly coached. Almost every single huddle had 12 or 13 players in it followed by a scramble to get guys off. It was amazing to not see a single penalty for this because there is no way those guys were legal by playing that play or the previous play as the substitution rule requires when breaking the huddle.
  I remember seeing the complaints about how predictable the last coach was and yet, the new one is worse. Isolation 20 times with his son running the ball, followed by a toss or trap play here and there. Pathetic. The QB is clearly the best offensive weapon, but only let him run it a couple times and throw a very solid ball a few more times is terrible play calling.
  
  The defense is terrible as well. I didn't see a single adjustment made on either side of the ball. Why are your defensive backs playing 7 yards off the ball and back pedaling to 30 yards as Triway throws nothing but slants, screens, and to a player out of the backfield for big play after big play? Embarrassing.
  
  Good job by the new coach to run out the old coach. He's done a smash up job proving he knew what he was talking about from the stands.
