Being the greatest team in the nation is amazing. We played the best teams every year and went undefeated.isadore;1856773 wrote:gosh a ruddies, why? They are not real titles. -

gosh a ruddies, how do you know. Once a playoff system was set up to really decide championships, you guys stopped winning them.Al Bundy;1856776 wrote:Being the greatest team in the nation is amazing. We played the best teams every year and went undefeated. -

Oh, so living vicariously huh? That's cool but....When ML "won those titles" I don't remember them beating Massillon. Ya can't be the man if ya can't beat the man.isadore;1856771 wrote:gosh a ruddies, I don't live in Marion school district and I don't know the AD at Marion. I just admire them for having so many real championships, not phony poll titles. And more importantly they are academically successful. Why don't you check with Massillon if you guys are buddies. -

So....You don't live there....You don't know the AD....But you'll stay on here literally ALL Day and argue with me? Yet claim to have a life?isadore;1856771 wrote:I don't live in Marion school district and I don't know the AD at Marion.

gosh a ruddies, that is not the real championship. Warren Western Reserve won the championship on the field. Not in some phony poll.Al Bundy;1856784 wrote:We won it in 1972. Here is the link. http://ohsaa.org/sports/history/APPollChampions&All-OhioTeams.htm -

Gosh a ruddies, I am just arguing for the truth. Marion Local is a better school than Massillon and it has won real football championships, not phony polls. That would be true of St Ignatius or Moeller or many other schools in the state. They won real championships. And their kids get a good education.chiefy jones;1856786 wrote:So....You don't live there....You don't know the AD....But you'll stay on here literally ALL Day and argue with me? According to your logic, you can only compare two teams if they played each other. Then you say, Marion Local is better than Massillon. When have they played? Why is your opinion valid, but the opinion of experts in the field not valid?isadore;1856791 wrote:Gosh a ruddies, I am just arguing for the truth. chiefy jonesI'm sure those schools appreciate your support. I'm sure they would prefer someone who uses punctuation correctly though.
-
chiefy jonesAgain....ML has less than 9 NATIONAL TITLES so....
-
chiefy jonesPlus, word on the street says ML obtains their talent....Let's just say....In a parochial way.
-
chiefy jonesRing ring....Ring ring....(ML) "hello"
(Massillon) "hi this is Massillon, would you like to play a football game this season?"
(ML) "...."
(Massillon) "hello?"...."hello?"...."is anyone there?" -
Midstate01Every school in MAC country gets kids from outside their district, mostly because of 2 reasons 1) parents want their kids to play at a school where they can get better exposure or better competition and because a lot of schools up here don't have football, so those kids go where there is football.

Midstate01I was just talking about this with my cousins who go to covington. So I got a pretty good description of where kids are going, which schools they're leaving and so forth.

When you ask a question he can't answer, he logs off so he can buy time. He then comes back with a gem like, "Stark County people have no lives."Al Bundy;1856795 wrote:According to your logic, you can only compare two teams if they played each other. Most kids in the MAC region of the state are Catholic. Catholics are normally exceptional football players.Midstate01;1856801 wrote:Every school in MAC country gets kids from outside their district, mostly because of 2 reasons 1) parents want their kids to play at a school where they can get better exposure or better competition and because a lot of schools up here don't have football, so those kids go where there is football.

The ones I've met over the years at the state tournament were great people unlike the massholes taking money in the parking lot.SnotBubbles;1856690 wrote:If by "classiest and gracious" you mean "arrogant, condescending and egotistical," then I agree.
