He turned out to be a big play maker on both sides of the ball.

How many other big difference makers might we have lurking along the sidelines waiting for their big debut ?

Hard to plan a game strategy being an opposing coach when someone under the radar makes game changing plays.

Keep 'em coming Bears........we have a lot of great football to play this season !

    Great game guys !
When you refer so eloquently to the "chosen 4" are you referring to:

    1) The receiver who is leading the WCAL/area in receiving AND scoring?

    2) The rb/lb who is 2nd in the WCAL in rushing and leading the WCAL in tackling?

    3) The qb who is leading the WCAL in passing?

    4) Not sure who is the 4th of the "chosen 4"

I just need a little clarification please....

Observer....do you see what I put up with over here? Let me ask you Observer, do you see Hunter86's post as a truly POSITIVE post? Be honest please.

Oh I'm here. Just an observer now. No sense saying anything because it's your way or no way. You know it all.Just like someone else I know...... Must be an inherited trait.

Like I continue to say on here..relax and take a deep breath...there is STILL a lot of football left to be played.

I didn't run and hide after our Triway loss at all. Look back and see...I posted 2-3 times last week. Trust me...you will NEVER have to put out an APB on me. I will always be here. The reason I got on this forum was during our 0-10 season and our "faithful" fans (like our 35 year veteran resident) got on here and did nothing but point the finger at our coach. However, the following year (last year) we go 6-4 and all of sudden he can coach. Really?

I do know that we will have our hands full in 2 weeks but we will have our hands full next week and just about every other week this year in the league. We are just happy to be on the same field with some of these juggernauts. Hopefully we will just forfeit the game in 2 weeks and not even have to take the field. That would probably be the best thing for us.

I do want to hear from Buckz#1 and see if he still feels we need to "re-evaluate" what positions we have our players at? Or if we should have blitzed that BIG LB we have more often last night? Just curious....
From what I have heard EVERY coach that has had this group has won championships, so you might want to climb down off of that high horse you are on an hope your boy does. I want to root for Waynedale but you make it hard. Question! maybe your the problem!!!!
I will look into your progress for the 8 years, sure it will be interesting

Sorry but WACLFAN is a big douche, Hope he takes it back to the Waynedale tread. This would be a great tread as the league race is going to be a great one. waynedale has great talent, but !!!! Can you guide them as so many have done before you?

Nice guess but you are not even CLOSE. Check back on previous posts on this forum. I have NO dog in the fight. I am just a TRUE fan.

I just want to know if you still feel that we have kids in the wrong positions? Seriously? It has nothing to do with "your way or no way". You are just mad because your "out of position theory" is absolutely wrong. It has backfired right in your face and it is killing you!

"EVERY" coach? What are you talking about? Yes, they won in 7th and 8th grade BUT THIS ISN'T middle school football anymore son...this is VARSITY football. You know when they COMBINE classes and have to compete at a very high level. They don't just play against their own class. We have to put our best 11 guys out there and compete against other teams best 11 guys.

OBSERVER...Please help me here. Do you see what I am talking about????

AGAIN, you are wrong. (By the way...it is WCALFAN...not WACLFAN). Do you really think our football coach is on this thread? I agree with you...this would be a GREAT thread if the "faithful" wouldn't bash our coach. Look at Hunter86 comments. He just can't say..."Great job players and coaches". He has to continually throw in his jabs at our coach. The "chosen 4"...whatever that means. I guess if he means the qb who is leading the WCAL in passing OR the receiver who is leading the WCAL in receiving/scoring OR the rb who is the 2nd best in the league AND the leading tackler in the WCAL, then he is correct. Ask Hunter this...would #3 have made those plays last night IF the bobcats weren't so worried about #32 or #28 or #4? You guys make this TOO EASY!!!

"Guide them as so many have done before you"???? That was 3 years ago. You know when they had the running back playing quarterback and he just out ran everyone. Well guess what genius??? That won't work at the varsity level. You actually have to COACH at the varsity level. You have to generate game plans and come up with schemes and adjustments at the varsity level. It is big boy football not video game football. THIS is why I continue to comment on this thread.

Every level, every sport! just steer them! they will do the rest!!

You are absolutely NOT correct! Do you REALLY believe that? Shift gears to basketball...the 9th graders at Northwestern last year won at every level (7th & 8th grade) BUT when they played at the varsity level they finished in the middle of the pack. You have 14 year olds competing against 18-19 year olds. So that should translate to a championship as well?????????????????? Is that bad coaching as well?????????????????????????????????????????????????

PLUS, like I have said many, many times on here....there is still a lot of football to be played. Take a deep breath and relax.

I would hope your in the mix, as from what I have heard, basketball, wrestling are looking to be in the championship count with the combined Varsity classes, just manage this group and you will look great, please thou take it to your owe trend. this is about WCAL football!!!!!!!!!!!

Once again....you are WRONG. I have nothing to do with any coaching staff at Waynedale. But, once again, Waynedale is in the WCAL.

Your exact quote..."Every level, every sport! just steer them! they will do the rest!!"

Sooner or later you have to realize how easy this is for me.......................

WCAL, want to root for you, but YOU make it hard!!!!!!!!!!
  • wcalfan
Alum01;1655895 wrote:WCAL, want to root for you, but YOU make it hard!!!!!!!!!!
Why? Because I want to support our coach who:

    1) Cares about our kids
    2) Who knows more football in his pinky toe than most of us know altogether
    3) Actually played the sport and at a very HIGH level
    4) Takes time away from his family to help develop our kids into young men
    5) Probably makes about 10 cents an hour when you really look at it

Honestly though...I really could care less if you "root for us". I am not on here to win your approval. I am just here to prove the "finger pointers" wrong!

Listen, I am not on here to argue with YOU or get YOUR attention. Unless, of course, you are one of the "faithful" who don't support our coach....:RpS_blink:

I just don't think the purpose of forums like this should be for people to get on here and make ABSOLUTELY FALSE statements about our coach.

    Does that make sense?
