Because that exact situation didn't happen last season with Campbell's most talented teamscoreboard;1228347 wrote:Lmao

Since 89'... No. Lmao don't drink the water up on the hill, there's cat urine in it -
scoreboardTalent is nothing without leadership and heart. Last years team had neither.....this years has both. Keep your inflated confidence high. It'll be alot more fun watching you crash back down to earth when reality sets in.
-
Spread All DayMaybe it was you people that post on here that got to their heads. I know the kids lOok at this. Picking them for a deep playoff run last season inflated the hell out of their confidence. I said Struthers would be 6/4 at best, and that's a lot of confidence? It could crash back down, just like yours did in October when Struthers absolutely embarrassed you in every aspect of the game.
-
OhioNo talent? They had one of the top runningbacks in the area last year how was there no talent? "Hughes" Experience means alot also. That same team that got handled 22-3 had experience and the score shoulda been more if the phantom clip call on the int returned to the 4 yard line. Struthers has improved coaching, leadership and experience. You can say im on drugs to say Struthers will beat campbell this year, but you wont find any outside of campbell that will agree with you on that statement.

And since you have zero reading comprehension, I said they had no LEADERSHIP and HEART. Not talent.
And Shawn Patton left some pretty big shoes to fill also but that didn't seem to be a problem 5 years later. -
OhioYou edited your post sweetheart nice try.

OhioThe days are counting down to the red devils week 1 defeat. Throw whatever you want at me the better team will win, and that will be the wildcats, tough to pick against them when they return so much and completely abused last years campbell team.

And will have little to no grasp of yet another new system.Ohio;1228473 wrote:The days are counting down to the red devils week 1 defeat. Tbh if Asher and crew were back I'd give you more of a chance, week 10 possibly. Week 1? Won't happen. You're all in for a rude awakening. -
OhioGuess we will findout in about a month.
-
scoreboardAnd I can't wait.

soupcitysoldierscoreboard youre overly optimistic, im glad to see that. obviously youre in the know. also the 99 team was the most talented since 89, the 99 team wouldve beat last years team by 4 tds.
-
Spread All DayThe 99 team lost to who? Gooooo cats. All joking aside, I saw a team quit on that field last season in late October. Not 3 players, the whole team. If you didnt see that you're blind. This is a solid Struthers team that returns a good amount, like CMHS, with a solid coach that the kids can actually learn from. Not a dis on Asher, but the kids couldn't reLate with him in anyway shape or form. I like Struthers this season, and I like them by a lot.
-
soupcitysoldieryou could be very right spread...who really knows. i know nothing about the new coach. big games early in the season are always tough because you really dont know what you have and what will work. i think struthers has the advantage especially with the confidence they gained from last year. i have said it before you will learn alot about this campbell team in week 1, im sure the focus of the offseason has been struthers so well see what they got. last years team was infected by a couple cancers no doubt. the things these kids were doing at school and in the community is unreal. shame on the staff and administration for turning a blind eye to it. karma is a you know what. campbell lost their all state back and some good receivers and corners, but guess what they were all part of a bigger problem in my eyes. if that type of behavior is allowed to slide again then you will see the same product. a bunch of kids that feel theyre entitled and when the going gets tough they quit. just like they did last year.

I couldn't have said it any better. I seriously do believe that there were a few kids on the Campbell team last year, all seniors by the way, who had every intention of "lying down", "thugging it", "not giving their best effort," whatever you want to call it, vs. Struthers. And I mean before the game even started !!! That's not a knock on Struthers. The Wildcats came to Campbell a determined bunch. They deserved to win the game. From my perspective, I don't expect to see the leadership and behavior problems that plagued the Campbell team like last year. Something tells me lessons have been learned.soupcitysoldier;1229315 wrote:you could be very right spread...who really knows. i know nothing about the new coach. big games early in the season are always tough because you really dont know what you have and what will work. i think struthers has the advantage especially with the confidence they gained from last year. i have said it before you will learn alot about this campbell team in week 1, im sure the focus of the offseason has been struthers so well see what they got. last years team was infected by a couple cancers no doubt. the things these kids were doing at school and in the community is unreal. shame on the staff and administration for turning a blind eye to it. karma is a you know what. campbell lost their all state back and some good receivers and corners, but guess what they were all part of a bigger problem in my eyes. if that type of behavior is allowed to slide again then you will see the same product. a bunch of kids that feel theyre entitled and when the going gets tough they quit. just like they did last year. -
Spread All DayThe kids are really likening the system presented by the new coach. This is only positive news out of wildcat camp
-
OhioSeems To be an easier system for the kids to get down, kimbrough is going to be playing safety this season where he should excel at, also RB and WR on the offensive side of the ball, look for the offense to base off of him and stewart, I think they will run the ball more this season and setting Muntean up for success with easy throws to get into rhythm, hope they put a nice season together, very excited for the kent Roosevelt scrimmage that QB will be the most explosive player thy will see all season

OhioSnubbed on game of the week again, columbiana and crest view got it

soupcitysoldierdarn. that stinks.

Wow that's crazy.... I would have thought for sure. they need to do what they do down here for WTOV game of the week. Put up a few weeks for fans to pick. they do it during the mid and end of the season. What they do is pick a few high profile games and have fans pick who they want. And the game with most votes get game of the week...Ohio;1232522 wrote:Snubbed on game of the week again, columbiana and crest view got it -

Yeah, because EVERYONE would like to watch 2 teams that didn't make the playoffs last year over 2 teams who MAKE the playoffs every year. SMH.........scoreboard;1235299 wrote:We should contact the station and get this fixed. Nobody gives a rats ass about Columbiana and Crestview...... really?!
