  At least we make the playoffs. Didn't Columbiana pound Struthers 3 times in a row? Yeah the University of Ursuline beat us by 40. They would beat you guys even worse!

  Campbell struthers would get more viewers, and everyone knows struthers was bad those years because their coach had no clue what he was doing. The university of ursuline that only has kids from youngstown ur one of those guys lol.

  soup, according to The Vindicator, and I emphasize according because they have been known to make mistakes on dates and times, the Struthers scrimmages are at home on Tuesday August 7 vs. Streetsboro and away at Kent Roosevelt on Tuesday August 14th. Both are listed as 10 AM starts.

  I've been told early as 9 am no later then 10am for the streets scrimmage home Tuesday and I'm pretty sure the kent scrummage should be the 17th like everyone else I could be wrong tho

  I attended the scrimmage today, overall a pretty good first scrimmage. Kimbrough #6 bothered by a hip injury didnt play any offense only played saftey, but came up and make some big hits. Defensively the cats looked more sound then they have in years past not giving up really big plays, streetsboro was a decent team but nowhere near great, have some nice athletes in the backfield and a really big defensive line. For the cats on offense Muntean threw the ball very well the whole scrimmage, threw one pick in which the jv reciever the his defender undercut him to pick it off, which happens with younger guys, Lariccia #11 ran the ball extremely hard and well when he got in, #44 Stewart was his typical self just a little bit hesitant hitting the holes at times, didn't get to see the mooney transfer in the backfield because his papers arn't completely done yet. Muntean threw a couple really nice balls one deep one to #10 on the first drive for about 35 yards, all in all they have to strive to get better and prepare for week 1, Kent Roosevelt scrimmage will help them alot, because of the fact their QB will be one of the best athletes they will see all season and he slings the ball around very well.

  i was impressed, thought struthers has some nice size. big linebackers and the qb will be very very good. shouldnt have a problem running the ball. the only weakness i saw was possibly the defensive backfield. overall i wasnt impressed with streetsboro, but i saw alot of nice things from struthers. that first drive streetsboro had i dont put too much stock into, didnt seem to me like struthers had their first team defensive line in. i think streetsboro had some size and not much talent but good scrimmage never the less

  Other then kimbrough at safety their defensive backfield can give and probably already do give coach done headaches

  When and where is Kent Roosevelt scrimmage? I heard nothing but good things about Struthers, escpecially the Qb. Campbell better bring their "A" game week one.

  oldschool, I believe it's at Kent Roosevelt on Tuesday the 14th, 10 AM. Keep in mind this information comes from The Vindicator. They can be unreliable sometimes.

  Struthers new addidas uniforms are really nice, tight fitting so nonore getting brought down by their really loose jerseys
