Div 4 Reg.14

OQBOrrville at 214

RocketsfanLooks like Oak Harbor will drop back to DIV this year and probably Region 14.

5knotsIf some of the cut off projections are valid Chagrin Falls and CVCA are at 243 and could bump to III. If that is the case Orrville will more than likely slide back into Region 13 since we are the Eastern most team in Region 14. It is fun speculating, but that is all it is at this point. Read either here or JJ that Kenton will probably move back to 14 although I do not know what the reasoning was behind that statement. with Cinc Taft and Alter both moving to III I think Kenton would stay in 16? But I am not familiar with many of the schools in the Cincy area that are D IV. Maybe they had numerous schools move to IV and therefore filled the vacuum from Taft from and Alter and gave reason for Kenton to go back to 14?

RedRider1^^Yep. By my cutoff numbers, Northwestern and Norwayne will jump to D4. Since they're technically and actually east of Orrville, they'd be the two local teams to head to R14, with current R14's Orrville and Chippewa coming back to 13.
Region 13 will look a lot different than the last time the Riders resided there. No Steubenville, Mooney, St. V. and now no Chagrin Falls. Still Manchester though. -
5knotsYep out from last years playoff teams are Chagrin Falls to D3 and Campbell Memorial to D5.

Actually RR1, last time I looked Stark County was east of Orrville, time to get more instruction from BRF! -
RedRider1
My bad. A mind reader would have known what I meant.riders1;758510 wrote:Actually RR1, last time I looked Stark County was east of Orrville, time to get more instruction from BRF! -
WriterbuckeyeIf the breakout projections by ts and RedRider are accurate, Bucyrus will drop to D-V and be out of the region.
-
RedRider1and Orrville will jump back to Region 13.
-
5knotsI hear a big sigh of relief from Genoa lol.
-
Old Rider5knots...and they may be celebrating on the streets! Listening to Vanilla Ice and some Metallica while huddled around some Winnebagos!

5knotsNice to have you back rage.......(sarcasm)
-
WriterbuckeyeThe new breakdown is out, and Bucyrus does drop to D-V, so out of Region 14.
-
5knotsnot sure of its accuracy or origin but this was just up on jj http://www.ohsaa.org/sports/ft/boys/2011/2011RegAssignments.pdf
Has Hartley, Ready, Kenton, Elyria Catholic all in 14. Orrville back over to 13? -
CCRollyLooks that way....Riders back to Region 13. Wooster jumps to Region 7 along with Ashland...down with the Columbus schools.
-
mrtinkertrainI'm sure they are throwing a party over in Genoa to celebrate Orrville no longer being around. It will sink in soon enough that Kenton has now returned to R14.
The odd's on favorite for R14 has got to be Kenton as long as Matty Mauk stays healthy. -
THE4RINGZIt will be interesting to see how Norwayne will fare in Region 13. They are playing some wicked good football these days in South Creston.
-
CCRollyYou serious, Clark?

The only thing Genoa is celebrating is that Oak Harbor is back in R14 so the chance is available for the Comets to beat OH twice in a year. Double dip as you will. -
bwcomet89First thing I noticed is how much stronger the region has become. This season you won't see the last few seeds limping in like the past 2 seasons. Now that this region is strong as it has been in years, I'm sure Orrville is celebrating they get to go back to R13.

Let the fun begin BW ! Be careful what you ask for...Oak Harbor gave Genoa a very good game last year and the Rockets have a talented bunch coming back. It could play out where Oak Harbor beats Genoa twice in a year. We shall see. Regardless, this should be a fun year in R14. -

Yeah....historically we have had such a rough time competing in Region 14????? Hope to see you Comets in the semis or finals....How fun would that be! Best of luck in '11bwcomet89;767108 wrote:First thing I noticed is how much stronger the region has become. This season you won't see the last few seeds limping in like the past 2 seasons.
