  It is bad enough that they got their butts kicked on a Friday night...don't rub salt into the wound. Coach Z takes it harder than anyone you will ever know. He bleeds brown and gold. He wants what is best for these kids. He has had, and continues to have, A LOT of crap to try and maintain with these kids.
  
  Let's do our best to give him the positive support he deserves. Is that too much to ask for?

  This week is big!!! Smithville vs Hillsdale. Wish I could be there........oh well, looks like QKT game of the week & Mansfield TV again.

  From looking at all the posts on here, it doesn't seem like anyone has a problem with scores that get out of hand. I know I don't. It stings hard when it happens to your team and emotions get pretty raw for awhile but you get over it. (I know, I'm a longtime Husky Fan) The Cats have to start playing the starters deeper into games, score be damned. The playoffs await. I know it's dangerous looking to far ahead, but when/if you get there...it's best to be prepared.

  There isn't a BIGGER supporter of Waynedale athletics on this thread than Beast. Hell, he's related to the QB!!! He's ALLOWED to have an opinion and he isn't afraid to voice it. ALL HEAD COACHES GET CRITICIZED!!!!! it's part of the job. You also have every right to disagree, but when it comes to credibility on this thread. Beast has it in spades.

  The year you left us high and dry on the football pool was 2009. Smithville was 4-6 that year. Check the JJ archives.

  BRF is also on 1_beast's side. WCALfan: you say he should stop giving his opinion because coaches and players read this stuff? That is rich. The kids will read even if the coach says "don't". IMO, any coach that is dumb enough to spend time reading this blather should probably just start listening to it!

Your post is the one that has no merit. we have been getting on here and talking football and generally having a good time. It is tightwads like you that ruin these threads. The last time I looked this was still a free country and if I don't like someone or I believe that they are wrong, your damn right I am going to say something. If a coach or a player gets on here and lets anything that is said on here get to them, well then they have pretty deep issues. So rock on my Beast brother and don't let "Big" brother wcalfan ruin the show. Safe play to all teams this week.

  The credibility comes from giving honest opinions and game recaps from 8-2 seasons AND 2-8 seasons. I applaud todays society, a society where you are beaten, jailed and executed for giving your opinion does exist though, it's called China. Nobody second guesses a coach there....you should check into moving.
  
  
  I can't speak for everyone else, but YES, I would give my opinion if I were sitting at a table with coaches. I get evaluated on my job by the public at large all the time. If I subscribed to your thinking, it would be okay to throw tirades every time someone didn't appreciate my work.
  
  Most people know that no matter how hard you work, someone won't like it. sometimes they are right, sometimes not. Almost every person, in every field, deals with this often. Nobody is exempt, not even high school football coaches.

  I have never said you can't have opinions. However, the things you say on here are said without any REAL knowledge of what these coaches/players go through on a daily basis. You have NO IDEA all of the bull^$#& these coaches have to put with these days. They are coaches for one reason and one reason only...to help kids! It certainly isn't for the pay. Have you ever really figured out what a coach makes per hour? They don't do it for the money, that is for sure.
  
  So they put in all of this hard work and dedication to the kids and they have people on here, with NO TRUE KNOWLEDGE of what is going on, and they are supposed to just take it because YOU say so? You tell me where in a coaches job description that he is evaluated by the public? I know, I know...it is part of the job. The only people who should be evaluating coaches is the administration. That is it! When someone gives you an opinion about the job you do and they are clueless, then you just take it? Again, if you were a coach and you put in all of these hours and someone, with NO CLUE, gets on here and tells you how bad a job you are doing...you would be nice and calm with your response? That is like an unmarried (with no children) person coming into your house and telling you how bad a parent/husband you are.
  
  Just look at the reaction of Beast (BIG BOLD LETTERS AND NAME CALLING) when I got on here and told him he didn't know what he was talking about. Talk about a "tirade".
