2011 Wayne County Athletic League Football

    Pretty amazed there has been very little additional information today... just that Smithville's coaches have to officially be renewed, so it really leaves no reason for firing or resigning. I wonder why they would force him to sign a letter of resignation then. Doesn't seem to make any sense? Can anyone shed some light?

    I'm going to the board meeting Monday and I got questions and they had better have good answers.

    I'm so sick of Smithville administrators. My senior year (02) the freshmen parents complained about us hitting the pads (and other stuff) after Thursday practice after the coaches left the field. Next thing you know here comes Maynard Yohs (the principal) crippeld @ss and his son driving their truck up onto the practice field. Yoh gets out and tries to shut things down. Luckily there was a lot of snow so we started pegging him with snow balls and he fell to the ground. His son jumped out and drug him into the truck and they took off. We continued hitting the pads and other stuff.

    I could see the hate in Manard Yoh and Gary Whitakers (The Superintendent) eyes when we took the field for the state championship game. I wish we would have won that game so I could have seen the disappoint on Yohs face as I shoved that trophy up his fat @ss. Whitaker to......I used to love it when he'd get in front of the school for a pep rally and get booed.

    Judy Robinson and Tim Keib........I don't know them and don't care to. I view them the same way I view Yoh and Whitaker.

    I hope this board fires Robinson and Keib. I wish we could bring common sense back to Smithville........Tom Rolf and John Walker.

    Don't get your hopes up about returning common sense to our leaders. We are a nation being run into the
    Ground by pansies. Shrock probably wasn't sensitive enough for the "new" leadership in Smithville. It sure
    Will be interesting when Jan 10 rolls around and he can speak out as to what happened.

    Theres not much to know, i think. A bunch of women running Smithville (school board and super) plus the principal didnt like him. He was old school. A bit rough around the edges, swore on occasion.. His greatest offense was being who he'd been for 35 years.

    How do you get rid of a guy like that? You have your principal spy on practices and the locker room at halftime, write down every swear word. Then you call the guy whose put his whole life into the program into a small room one on one and tell him he's worthless and a bad influence. You swear too much, you dont care about your boys or their health, you think youre bigger than the program, etc. Make him feel two feet tall, then slide a resignation letter and bogus confidentiality agreement in front of him.

    This was really just a handful of people who felt threatened by the guy. They have no regard for the boys or the program. They just wanted him gone. Pathetic stuff.

    I think if i was Coach Schrock i would have told them where to stick the confidentiality agreement......they were firing him anyways!!!!

    I have a friend that's a head coach in Cincinnati area, he never meets with super. on year-end reviews just Ad and Principle. What if Schrock was trying to make sure program was going to be put in the hands of the person he thought was the right choice and this is where we end up. Don't have any information just my thoughts in this whole situation and trying to read between the lines in today's article in paper.

    If your going to the Board Meeting ask them if they are going to fire the girls basketball coach for the act he diplayed at the Norwayne game. With his team way ahead he kicks a chair into the stand, when a fan called him on it he asked the fan if he wanted a piece of him. There is a real leader of young ladies the piece of crap. He don't know it but the fan is a real tuff boy, glad he keep his cool. Ask them to fire the coach.

    You might be onto something!!!! I bet that the Police will be there, and they end the meeting kicking everyone out for a closed doors session, let me check my schedule for Monday!!!

    I am guessing nothing will happen at the board meeting and Schrock's resignation will not be on the agenda. So for people to go, may be a nice sign of support but could be a waste of time.

    Yeah...that was a joke. It was rough enough cheering for Norwayne during the playoffs...I'll be damned if Im wearing a Smithville shirt....lol I feel
    bad about the situation and all...but .....eh, you know me!

    Add onto the fact Im not meeting "Dont Care" with a bowl of popcorn....I think that guy may have ulterior motives/ideas...and that aint flying!

    NOt to mention Im not going to a Smithie BOE meeting....

    Schrock might not be on the Agenda but interim Superintendent Judy Robinson is. They are deciding whether to keep her or not. She has everything to do with whats going on.

    They might not let me address the board but they can't stop me from shouting my message out. I might get escorted out by the cops but so be it.......they will hear my message loud and clear.
