I am not stabbing anyone in the back, JMO. I love dover football, nothing better. Would like to have seen Swinderman get some reps at QB and let mammo run wild as an inside WR. Of course its easy for me sit in the stands in make calls, I do believe I said I don't know anything about football.

No Problem then Jimmy. You are aware the QB you wanted at WR was named 1st team All Ohio at QB?
• J-Dover
I am aware, how many QB's get named 1st team each year?

You mean send MOONEY to D1 ... lol

Send Mooney to NCAA Div III. But I did pick a DeSales win Friday.
• J-Dover
^^^Don't send them to D1, some of the TIGER fans might get upset. lol

Oh No!! They arent liking me right now. Coyote22 has referred to me as an asshole. 30 minutes ago and still not been deleted. Is ok, I am not offended. Big Red fans will talk sh** with you till the moon freezes over. Massillon fans apparently just call the principal and tell on you?

Hey here's a quick question: why do some ppl say stuff about the smaller division catholic schools being D1 schools in disguise???? What doe sthat mean??? They don't have more boys than th e other schools in the div. so what's up????

Not trying to piss anyone off so someONE just give me an answer then drop it, please....

Sorry to hear that, I too would be if I had stayed at the big "T". Just had to get away from the mill, now I make peanuts but keep busy. GL getting back to work, hopefully before the Holidays.
• GoChiefs
Yeah..I'm in RPP..refuse to go to the Steel Mill..that won't happen. But thanks..sounding like after the first of the year probably once all the holidays are over. Ya know..so they don't have to pay us holiday pay. I'm next in line in my department..so I'm sure it'll be soon.

So, keep living vicariously through Mooney cuz that's the only way you'll ever be outside of your region....

Swirling Dirt 2009 Regional Semi-Final Champs!!!!
Absolutely we played Massillon in a year we thought we had a chance against them. We were wrong, and they smashed us. I don't think that game did much good for either team and Dover decided to go in a different direction. Does that make Dover look bad? Sure, but at least we took a shot at them and found out what we need to do to get better. I thought the same thing when we scheduled Avon Lake, but we competed the first year and managed to beat them at their place the 2nd year.
All Dover can do is keep winning the games on their schedule and continue giving themselves a shot at getting to the next level.

Also, I was hoping Big Red would beat Mooney and was surprised by the beating Mooney laid on Big Red. It really was too bad, I was hoping I would get a chance to hear the banjo's play as the Big Red caravan made their way up to stark county.
Dover tucked an ran is what they did. What does this teach the kids? We thought we could compete with Massillon but we can't so were taking our ball and going home.

Sigh. Dover has played Meadowbrook how many years in how many sports and you still can't spell it right?

That being said, I know a few programs that wish they were as big a joke as Dover.

Even if they kicked our butts, say like, oh, I don't know, 34-0, we would still honor the second year of the contract.
• Jess James
Well , I wouldn't be bragging about what Dover has accomplished. Seriously that league is not a football league. Dover will always be a Dover like program. They are Happy enough with winning their conference. They are always an average team at best, and sometime below average.

Even a couple of your fans admitted on here that Dover thought they were catching Massillon in a down year, we have alot coming back next year, why not call us now and set something up? Why wait until you think we are down?

When Moeller was winning state titles, what did Massillon do, called em up and put em on the schedule. Same thing with Cleve. St. Joe, when they were tough in the early 80s, we called em up and put em on the schedule.

Dover fans saying they think we scheduled Massillon bc we thought you were in a down year? Dover fans dont make their schedule. I agree thats what the fans thought, but who knows why the games were scheduled. They forgot to consult with me before agreeing to that deal.

Had they contacted you, I'm sure the deal would have NEVER gotten done.
