Don't assume you know how I feel. I think this whole thing stinks. I was born and raised in Weirton. I have a son Branko's age and I couldn't even image something like this happening to him. I'm sorry for lumping you and the rest of Big Red's supporters into a group based on one persons comment. I have many Big Red friends and my youngest son's best friend attends Big Red and is at our house constantly. It's a shame for this young man to have thrown away what amounts to his future. I hope details will emerge that exonerate him.
Listen you came on here first and made your assumtions . need I repost them . dont pre judge me and or the Big Red masses as a whole and I wont point out your inconsistancies. Just let it go and enjoy your evening . drink one for Branko since you like him so much -
Thinthickbigred
do these generalizations ring a bell to you ????? You came out with these comments as soon as the story broke!icredskins;827815 wrote:As a WVU graduate, I feel Pacman Jones is a disgrace to WVU and he's been out of school for over 6 years. Would you be disowning him if he had been in the news for doing something positive?? I'm just saying, if he went on to the NFL, Big Red fans would be saying how he got his character and football skills while at Big Red. There'd be a thread on this bulletin board praising his greatness and how Big Red impacted him. Now that he may have committed a felony, the fans don't want to lay any claim to him.
I feel sorry for this young man and his family. I hope these allegations aren't true. -

Did I not just apologize for lumping you all together?? If you can't accept that apology, then I guess I'm wasting my breathe with you. Btw, nice touch with the "drink one for Branko since you like him so much" comment. Classy. Maybe I shouldn't lump my opinion of other Big Red posters with you. You're giving them a bad name. -

whatever ? so I said drink one for him whats wrong with that ? He isnt in HS anymore Just give it all a rest we big Red people are not happy I know im not After Hiens Ward and now this and after the Buckeyes over the summer and the NFL lockout ,its killing me All my teams have some sort of scandal going on . I have a major headach over all this crap . I think depression has now set in . No college football for the Buckeyes worth watching possibly no NFL , One of my favorite Big Red boys is off the team from WVU , Heins in trouble ,still having to defend idiot Ben , Terrell Pryor is a bum ! It might be vacation time for me .I just hope Big Red has a great year this year because I know I need something positive .. -
TiernanWhat game is Branko Busick Bobblehead night? He used to be #36 now he's gonna be #271456.

Fish82 sure doesn't seem to claim him.
1. I'm not a Steubenville fan, and
B. attempting to paint a program with the actions of long-graduated alumni is a fail.
There's no shortage of things to hassle Big Red fans about. This ain't one of them. -
GoChiefsShouldn't it be,
1.
2.
Or at least,
A.
B.
But ,
1.
B.
????

This story seems very odd...there has to be more to it.
Wow MoW,
Quick to throw him under the bus eh? -
I Am AhabI have met the guy when I did my student teaching at SHS. He was definitely the big man on campus that yr (his senior yr) and basically had the run of the school. However, there was not a more polite and respectful student in the building and that's not always the case when you are a student teacher.
It's hard to believe the story based on the limited time I've spent around him but people I talk to who know the guy personally says it seems go be the case as opposed to a wrong place wrong time type of deal. -

LOL, you don't even know his old number...maybe you should do some research before you try to throw out some insults.Tiernan;829092 wrote:What game is Branko Busick Bobblehead night? He used to be #36 now he's gonna be #271456. -

I'm not throwing him under the bus, just pointing out how the Hater's mind works.
BTW, I still have Branko's Mom on my Facebook friends, and Branko's number in my phone...so I'm far from deserting him. It is a shocking story, but it's obvious he needs some help. -

It's a lightweight joke, but what number this piece of garbage wore doesn't matter. -

No, he needs to go to prison. You don't commit armed robbery because you "need help", you do it because you're a criminal. -
killer_ewokI've heard that he was a "debt collector." Anyone else hear that?

I would agree with that in most instances, but this seems odd since he has a strong family, and it doesn't seem like he would need petty cash. There has to be something more to this. -
Home12Heard the" debt collector" story today, also.
-
ThinthickbigredId like to know more about the people he was collecting from . Id like to know if he was collecting drug money or loan money .. There might be more crimes by other people . I think this is alot bigger ,but if some of the criminals called the cops on him ,they could have saved thereselves money and prosecution .. He wasnt out robbing old ladies purses and doing B & E jobs . Not making any excuses for the guy because I wish he didnt get involved in that type of thing, I just doubt anyone involved in this mess is truely inocent of anything .. He messed up in the wrong state too . WVA is very tough .This just stinks soo bad.

Wait for the trial . He may retain Casey Anthony's attorney ..and in this case I hope he does get off -

Cracks a guy in the head repeatedly with a gun and you hope he gets off??? Yes, lets let a criminal run free just bc it might tarnish the image of Big Red. Smh. -

Yep i hope he gets off . That means I hope some of the circumstances might garner him to get off ,if anything lightly .
Dont care what you think anyway . Why do you care what I think
Besides he graduated 3 years ago so its really not a Big Red issue anymore .. If you go through every high schools previous enrollment ,you are going to find many many many people who have gotten in trouble .. We are just in the limelight because of who we are it all comes with the territory .. Keep on hatin dont care -
GoChiefsBoy, it must suck to be so defensive all the time doesn't it? You don't care what anyone thinks, yet, you always respond? Where in my post was I 'hatin'?

that proves alot. What proves the truth is that fact that you said he is from weirton, not Big Red. End of convo because before you said he was ALL NOTHING BUT BIG RED.
