Where did you see that? I didn't see anything about it on JJ or OVAthletics or RollRedRoll.

Miss the old " All American Conference ". Now that was exciting competition most every week.

I don't know how to put links to stories here but the story has been posted all over Facebook from a source called WV Illustrated; a certain redshirt soph Mountaineer linebacker has been arrested and charged with armed robbery. A nice blackeye for the Big Red.

As a WVU graduate, I feel Pacman Jones is a disgrace to WVU and he's been out of school for over 6 years. Would you be disowning him if he had been in the news for doing something positive?? I'm just saying, if he went on to the NFL, Big Red fans would be saying how he got his character and football skills while at Big Red. There'd be a thread on this bulletin board praising his greatness and how Big Red impacted him. Now that he may have committed a felony, the fans don't want to lay any claim to him.

I feel sorry for this young man and his family. I hope these allegations aren't true.

I just read that Steubenville has declared they do not want to play Massillon this year. They are looking for a new week 9 opponent now.

It just came out . The wolves are already circling. Who said we dont claim him ? again he has not been found guilty of anything yet . This could be a misunderstanding we dont know . the charges may not fit the crime , which I highly doubt they do . That kid wouldnt need a gun to rob somebody ,if you seen him . But again the facts are not all out yet .
From my perspective this has been a horrible couple days first Hiens one of my favorite Steelers and now Branko one of my recent favorite Big Red boys .. Im sick and now all you people can be cheery and happy and rub the Big Red nation in it . Enjoy yourself ICredskins. the Big Red will move on as always . I hope the kid isnt guilty of this ,I met him and he seemed to me a very nice kid

What I find funny is that whenever he did somethng good the Haters were quick to point out that he was from Weirton West Virginia, but now he is from Big Red and the articles even call Steubenville his "hometown"!

This story seems very odd...there has to be more to it.

This is crazy . I met the kid once and he seemed like a very nice guy . I ahve also heard from others that he was a very polite and nice person , I hope this story has alot of mistakes in it .. this is a terrible week first Heins and now this .. I think im going to have a drink

No matter how this comes out, it is probably the end of his football and wrestling career. WVU will likely consider him to be damaged goods.
  • FairwoodKing
This just in. He was dismissed from the team.

I'm glad you're worried about the Big Red nation being under attack. Afterall, that's what's important here.

Didnt you say that we have disowned Branko? Now that I have said the Big Red nation I am forgetting about Branko and whatever happened at WVU ? Dont be sooooo sanctamonious I care about the whole deal . I dont know what happened . i like Branko from what Ive known of him . I feel terrible I hope this is a big misunderstanding . This is a black eye for the Big Red Nation . We are always on here defending our school and our town and kids . this does nothing to help that . look other threads already came out . you dont know how I feel . You have never been our friend icredskins so please dont pretend you care ,its very transparent to me . i on the other hand do care but then this is our nation that will have to endure the news media . The Big Red nation will survive and I look forward to seeing more comments on Branko by many of our enemies ,even after our teams whip up on many of yours on the grid . This is an Ohio high school football thread remember that .. Its not Dear Abbey . have a good rest of your evening i have a feeling your feeling pretty A-OK .. Now come on here and fake it some more

" i have a feeling your feeling pretty A-OK .. Now come on here and fake it some more"

Don't assume you know how I feel. I think this whole thing stinks. I was born and raised in Weirton. I have a son Branko's age and I couldn't even image something like this happening to him. I'm sorry for lumping you and the rest of Big Red's supporters into a group based on one persons comment. I have many Big Red friends and my youngest son's best friend attends Big Red and is at our house constantly. It's a shame for this young man to have thrown away what amounts to his future. I hope details will emerge that exonerate him.
