1) Coach Fecko visited 1 kid from Boardman on Monday, 3 kids from Fitch on Tuesday, and 6 kids from Campbell on Wednesday. Coach Reardon visited 4 kids from Campbell on Monday, 2 kids from Boardman on Tuesday, and 4 kids from Fitch on Wednesday. Who comes away with the most recruits?
Trick question.
Answer: Coach Kyle.
I stand corrected, I was just informed it is indeed Coach Fecko. -

Those coaches better pick up their game. They are way behind on the recruiting class that Massillon brought in last weekend.skank;681394 wrote:Now that we have English out of the way, let's all take out our Math books and turn to page 1.

Actually, this should read:
Coach Fecko went to the trophy case and admired 7 State Championship trophies.
Coach Reardon went to the trophy case and admired 4 State Championship trophies
Who has more State Championship trophies?
Answer:
Coach Kyle
Bonus questions:
Where do Massollin fans go to admire State Championship trophies
Answer:

Coincidently, THEIR 11 combined are exactly half of what we have. -

You're having all kind of problems with the English language, aren't you? -

Boom roasted? You mean like Southview when they found out DI wasn't the picnic they thought it was gonna be? I sure remember the posts last year when you guys thought you were gonna roll through your region and possibly to state. THAT was being roasted son. -

I'm quite sure Fecko and Reardon were there, clipboards in hand. -

Maybe YOU guys should have a combine at your indoor facility. (As opposed to the ones you have outdoors). -

Not sad, not too little, and not lonely, but I'm sure that's how you picture anyone who doesn't agree with every word you say. Name calling is high on your list, and it's too bad because you seem to be so high on education, (despite that little "I'm am" situation).
BTW, to some, "voted on championships" mean very little, to others, "assembled talent championships", (IE: EVERY parochial championship ever), mean very little. -
Dean WormerSkank my friend
Rocket has some problems with English but not math. I do have to say that unlike Rocket I understand how much you revere your titles in Massillon. I am a Browns fan and I still talk about their NFL titles. But a man reminded me a few weeks ago that ancient history is ancient history. Hell, even the Egyptians were a powerful nation at one time. So welcome to 2011 and hopefully you can win a real title some day soon. -

Well....Friend....Since football was invented WAY before 1972, those titles are as real as the ones Mooney, Ursuline & Ignatius have. You realize that Massillon people aren't the ones who usually bring up the 22 titles, they're usually brought up by someone like Rocket, Bundy, Fish or yourself, and we have to defend them, much like the situation we have here.
Now, if anyone would like to discuss Massillons 22 state championships, OR their 9 national championships, I suggest they start a thread. This thread was not intended for that discussion.
I suggest we get back on subject. -

Yet we still have a trophy in the trophy case and in D1 we're in the same boat as Massillon. It was our first go around while you guys have been there for years. Also show me where someone said that we were going to roll through our region? -

Don't lump me in there. I've never stated Massy's titles were anything but legit. I do think the fact that you've failed to win once since they have been decided on the field speaks volumes, but that's another subject.skank;682494 wrote:Well....Friend....Since football was invented WAY before 1972, those titles are as real as the ones Mooney, Ursuline & Ignatius have. Spread All DayAt the end of the day, you can't have seperate playoffs! Because, if thats what happened, teams like Stuby, would win EVERY YEAR.
Lets not play stupid.
Ursuline and Mooney will always be powers of The Youngstown area, and the state. Nothing will prevent that. -
rmolin73I know a guy that is from Youngstown he told me that Mooney was always good but when they closed South, Rayen, and East, Mooney was able to remain good and Ursuline became what they are now. He also said that he doesn't blame parents for not wanting to send their kids to East or Chaney.
-
Rocket08Basically true.
I wouldn't wish Chaney on anybody right now.
The one caveat that I have, is that many of the students (from the City) at Mooney and Ursuline are actually products of Charter Schools. They left the Public School system at least a few years before high school.
Certainly not all, but many -

There are other reasons for that, reasons that people don't know about when they talk crap. -

First of all, I am public school guy. Secondly, if you oppose the idea of other schools having a combine (can you actually provide a link those combines to prove they exist), do you also have a problem with Massillon having a combine?skank;682180 wrote:Maybe YOU guys should have a combine at your indoor facility. Massillons combine isn't even Massillons combine, it's sponsored by Nike, and is held at a location. It is also to showcase HS kids for college, NOT to showcase their talents for prospective PAROCHIAL HIGH SCHOOL coaches. Furthermore, I've talked about the PD article on these "talent shows", many times, if you want to read more about them, YOU look it up. -

Yes Al...skank keeps mentioning the "combine" held in Cleveland that was referenced in the Plain Dealer. He also conveniently leaves out the fact that this camp is for parochial school kids. Hmm...a parochial school football camp, set up for parochial school students...you're right skank. That sure sounds fishy to me! /sarcasm.
