For example...........we still have a movie theatre.
But we have a FOOTBALL TEAM -
OQBthey have a football team too.....just not as successful as ours.
-
riders1They only have a team so that the band has a place to play
-
OQBThey have a very nice auditorium the band plays in, no need to have a football team just for that....
-
THE4RINGZWooster's band would kick your band's ashes......and you can take that to the bank.

RedRider1BRF,
Wooster got their 40th win in 1974....after that game, they led the all-time series 40-16-9.
So starting with the 1975 game...to date....Orrville has won 24 of the 34 games.
Since 1982, Orrville leads the series 20-8.
Gardens,
Here's some blog posts I made a few years ago chronicling some of the matchups through the years.

BRFThanks, RR! Good stuff!

Did you include our power lifting state titles? I didn't think so. Furthermore, Or 21 less overall. Word it however you want, but I must ask, if your program is so great, why would kids STILL rather play in Massillon? Just something to ponder. -
skankMaybe because they would rather play in front of 10,000 than 100, I don't know?
-
riders1Maybe their dads got jobs there
-
CCRollyLot of good going to Massillon did him to, huh? No state titles there (shocker), one at Orrville. Got to OSU, and he really lit it up there. The kid would've gotten offered if he stayed in Black and Red.
-
OQBHe would've probably won one more state title at.Orrville if he stayed, and he would've gotten offered by the same schools. That's why we have had 4 guys go division 1 the past few years, and many other playing other divisions. I played with Paulick and scassa at malone, good guys but you sure can tell they went to massillon.

I remember Orrville in the 80's and the stuff they got away with then, you might want to retink that. -

Do you really want to compare the schools Orrville has to play and the ones Massillon has to play? -

Only 4? Sad. How could you tell they went to Massillon? Did they scare you on the football field? -
RedRider1that was the 80's...it still happens in tigertown. dad just happens to have a heavily recruited QB...and Diebold offers him a job.....so weird.
Smuckers is cutting factory jobs left and right...majority of their workers are younger professionals.
I guess whatever you've got to say......I've read too much drama out of tigertown over the last 5 years (the superintendent, the DREAM, board corruption) that would last most towns a lifetime. I'm sure Hall will pee in someone's Wheaties soon enough and it'll be on to the next big coach.
We'll take our 20...soon to be 21 playoff appearances, and be plenty content....thanks. -
OQBI would rather play for Orrville anyway!
-
BRFZwick helped us get our state championship and I am grateful for that run. His family made a choice and I abide by that. He was not only a great athlete, but a great student AND continues to be a great person.
I would like to move on from the conversation on him.
We have OWNED Wooster lately and I want that to continue. I believe we can do it. Go Riders! -

Lost credibility in just your second sentence, dad ALREADY worked for Diebold....he got transfered to the Green plant. Unless of course....yes....that's it....Diebold must be in on this also. Along with their big important jobs, they must also have the best interest of Massillon football in mind.
Boss: "Sanders, do you have those reports I asked for?"
Sanders: "No sir, we have a bigger problem."
Boss: "What is it Sanders?"
Sanders: "Massillon's All State quarterback graduated sir, we've got big trouble."
Boss: "SANDERS....WHY DIDN'T YOU BRING THIS TO MY ATTENTION EARLIER?" "I have an Idea....I just hope it's not too late."
Sanders: "What is it boss?"
Boss: "Sanders....get me the Oregon branch on the phone."
And finally, you may have read too much, but you haven't read the right things.
By the way, the Super, the DREAM and the "Board corruption" all fall under the same umbrella, but nice effort trying to make it look like 3 different issues. -
skankNow, I think it's time to talk Wooster/Orrville football, I will leave now, let's just leave it where it is.
-
BRFSoooo.......what is the extended weather forecast for the game? I think it is looking good.
-
OQBAsk the 5knots doplar radar......
-
OQBSo how many chatters will be in the parade of past players?
