Flashhttp://www.ohsaa.org/news/misc/Concussions.pdf Here's the OHSAA stance on concussions.
-
5knotsI know at Orrville you will not see any contact for a minimum of 7 days from the last symptom of any sort of headache. 2 of my boys had concussions last year. both were not only out for the next game but there schoolday was also very difficult for them...they are very bright guys so it was not a big issue. The point is that a knock to the head is nothing to disregard. I am sure Davonta will want to play. Heck...we want him to play also...but there is no way he should see the field in practice this week or next Saturday. You've got next year young man to have your night vs the Riders.
-
62_80_47_WooLet it begin, Football yard signs in Wooster are starting to vanish. This was in a email I received from a Wooster parent.
“Our daughter received some text messages from an Orrville athlete- a well known one, too- late this afternoon (Sat.) asking where she lived. Suffice it to say, the sign is out of the yard, the lights & sensors are on and the text message saved just in case.” -
THE4RINGZThat is just part of a big rivalry
-
62_80_47_WooTHE4RINGZ: I agree whole heatedly, If we have some parents that weren't smart enough to secure their signs, SHAME ON THEM.
-
OQBdiscipline anyone......
-
RedRider1Not the way I envisioned heading into week 10....and Orrville has seemingly more questions than answers. We finally get the penalties straightened out but our offense is now M.I.A.
I say it's all up for grabs this week....no position is safe. Effort and desire is just as important as talent. We have some kids with a great amount of talent, but really lack in the effort and desire category.
We're a playoff team....let's start acting like one. -

100% agree!! Just seems like we were going through the motions out there...line not blocking, dropped balls, bad throws, running backs dancing around in the backfield, and missed tackles. Wake up and play football! I hope they come out and prove me wrong, because right now we are not very good at all. We have the athletes to be a great team, but I just don't see them out there right now. -
THE4RINGZYou Orrville sandbaggers are hilarious
-
OQBWe just love our Orrville football and hate seeing our players not play up to their true abilities.
-
THE4RINGZDo you know the definition of a sandbagger?
-
OQBYes, I am not stupid, it is a golf term.
I did have a 3.9 gpa in high school and a 3.5 in college, so there is some knowledge between my ears. -
5knotsanyone who can confirm this garbage.......I guess everyone is OK with allowing Orrville to wear all red even though they are the away team. OHSAA says as long as refs are OK and opposing coach. Some people thought it would be really cool if both teams were in there colors. Well. I guess Coach Mcreary from Woo says no. So, if we wear red we get a 15 yard penalty to start the game?
-
THE4RINGZMcCreary already winning the mental game.

I mean in message board context. -
OQBJust wear the away jersey and play the game...we have bigger issues than what jersey we are going to wear!
-
62_80_47_WooI would believe that of McCreary, He is a self centered (insert your choice of profanity). It's my understanding he is still salty about the Turner ordeal. Never mind the fact Wooster has a better team with him not here.
-
OQBThe funny thing is McCreary has so many relatives in Orrville....including our QB!
-
5knotsDon't get sassy with me now QB...you know I can get even in lots different ways....haha
-

That got mentioned on here or somewhere else....not surprised that mccreary doesnt want it...i guess he wants every edge he can have...even if it's an aesthetic one.
and yea...i'd imagine if we did it anyway...we'd get some sort of penalty to start the game.
I think it'd be cool to warm up in white jerseys and red pants...then come back to the field with red on red. Give McCreary a big ol' middle finger to start the game. -
OQB5k, it was not towards you in anyway! haha I'm just saying as a point, we have bigger issues than what jersey we are going to wear.
