100th meeting. Wooster v. Orrville
-
CCRollyDear AD Hamsher,
Please non-renew that joke of a football coach McCreary. Wooster has too much talent on the way to continue to produce 6-4 or 7-3 seasons, and then still piss down their leg in big games. It would also be refreshing to have a coach that had his team prepared on Friday night and for them to show some enthusiasm. And please, if we get rid of big Mike...please ensure the other 2 McCreary's on the coaching staff aren't allowed within 5 miles of the stadium on game night. Also, please look at the former Louisville head coach as one of the coaching candidates. Yes, I know he doesn't follow the Booster clubs "demands", but don't you think it's time we get someone to lead this program who has some balls and actually knows what the hell he is doing?
P.S. The Stadium sucks...burn it to the ground and rebuild the visitor stands at Maurer Field....
Sincerely,
CCRolly -
Mr. 300Dear AD Hamsher
A certain school due south of you has a defensive coodinator for your soon to be renewed football coach. Send me a pm for for info.
Sincerely,
Mr. 300 (latest bowled at Triway Lanes) -
CCRollyIt's OK Mr. 300...you could have Buddy Ryan as your defensive coordinator and it wouldn't have helped.

62_80_47_WooHoly crap.......... I didn't realize part of the budget cuts in the school was the cut down of paper products used in our playbooks. How many times do we need to see the same play run over and over and over again..
We ran the ball very well on the first drive... Uh oh, better go to the shotgun and pass to insure we don't score.......
No disrespect 5knots, McCreary should of got Orrvilles DR player of the Game.. What in the world did Price do to earn Woosters player of the game? -
RedRiderPowerIt felt really good waking up this morning with thoughts of how Wooster fans must feel. But what makes it even sweeter is knowing that next year is going to be just as good when Woo comes into The Ville for their 7th straight loss. Oh what a fabulous feeling it is...
Just one small note--hear a lot of Woo Fans Boo Hooing about the coach, agree that he's not the brightest crayon in the box but you have to have a good squad on the field to be successful and clearly that hasn't been the case for the past 6 years. Slam the coach if you may but you might want to sit back and take a look at those players you put on the field first.
GO RIDERS! -

C'mon BRF...I'm 6'4" ....only a "bit" heavier than my high school playing days!BRF;539295 wrote:And...Old Rider is about 6'2" and he and Ringz would have a good throw down.
Hey hey, ho ho..Wooster gonna beat us?.....Hell no! -
THE4RINGZI would say this year's Wooster team had as much talent as any team in recent history if not more. There is a ton of talent coming up. What is frustrating is that the talent seems to be under utilized. I don't blame the players for under performing
It is the politics and never seeming to be properly prepared for the big game that frustrates me and many other Wooster fans. -

My bad!
RedRiderPower: the Wooster fans may be on to something, though, as their JV's have been pasting us the last few years. -
Old RiderWooster certainly has some great talent coming, but will it produce wins on Friday nights when it counts?
Orrville knows all too well that talent alone does not = championships! -
RedRiderPower
BRF I think it will take a couple more years but thats just my 2 cents...Our JV also beat Woo this year, but was a close one think something like 28 -27BRF;539492 wrote:

BRF, Orrville's JV beat Wooster this year 27-26 in a great come from behind win. -
Wooster All-Sport42 to 17, six losses in a row in our big game. Uggh. Congrats Riders, we seriously need to change some things up at Woo.

RedRiderPowerYea BRF I had one of those this morning myself. I was at mass sitting in back row and had a very strong urge to stand up and say--
What About Those Riders! LOL Maybe 20 years ago I would have done something like that but getting a little to old now i guess. -
BRFI am anxiously waiting to read comments from our Big Dawg: RR1!

You do have a point with this year's squad this year...LOLCCRolly;539417 wrote:It's OK Mr. 300...you could have Buddy Ryan as your defensive coordinator and it wouldn't have helped. -
RedRiderTraditionSorry again BFR, they beat us last year at there place and did not hesitate to run up the score on us. So, the Generals got what was coming to them. Their coaches are classless. If they decide to get rid of the current staff, they are going to have a hard time replacing them because of the lack of teaching positions in the district. The McCreary brothers, Gerber, Zigler and Nicholson are all apart of Wooster "Good Ol' Boy" club. Former players from the 80's who are still trying to re-live their glory days of high school football. They had a hard time beating Orrville in high school and it still remains a constant in their coaching careers. Might as well change Wooster's mascot to Wooster "Paper Tigers." Can't make the playoffs with a weak non conference schedule, 7-3 looks good on paper.

No broken spirits here. And the party starts later when the ghosts and goblins come out for Beggar's Night. -

You sure you aren't from Wooster because you summarized the situation here quite accuratelyRedRiderTradition;539591 wrote:Sorry again BFR, they beat us last year at there place and did not hesitate to run up the score on us. OQBI love the feeling after kicking some Wooster A**
Good conversation today...McCreary has to go if Wooster wants to do anything with the football program. Showing up to a pep rally and pregame festivities, but what really matters is you show up for the game!!! It is clear he can't get his kids ready for a big game.....I could give a rats a** if he is good with kids or not... -
OQBIf our run game can produce like that in the playoffs...we COULD have a nice run in the playoffs. but its one game at a time!

Looks like they found some money for those new uniforms they lost in last night
My guess was right on....Paper said there were 6000 at the game.... -
5knotsI came up with 7142 but I may have counted a couple of those kids running around twice?
