A quarter of the 'home side' is going to be for visitors. WHAT YA SAY GCC FAITHFUL...Let's get there early and take the good seats!!! (Don't forget to wear White!)
They had a quarter reserved last week too. What I'm saying is your fan base is split up a quarter in the end zone, a quarter on the home side and half in the visitors stands. not very equitable for the visitors. At least I'll be closer to the bathrooms this week.

Just glad he has nothing worse and is ok
I am no doctor, but I do know that Malvern was missing their number one running back due to a concussion suffered the week before. I would assume for the GCC young man that twice in 10 days means his season is over. Best wishes to him for a full recovery.

    Hoops
I think the Linder interest was sold out a number of years ago. He tried to manage it from afar for awhile from Kent.
Used to be great wings and burgers. Haven't been in there in a while. Didn;t go to either place last Sat, was still shaking the first tailgate for the Bucks.

    wesflyer87,
Linder's is on the south side of the main street in town (Main St.). I think you have to get there by going down the alley on the south side of main st. (South street). Both conv named that.... no lie :)

An interesting observance from the GCC / Malvern game. On one of the GCC touchdowns, it appears the TE (#80) goes out of his way to aid the RB into the endzone, the ref standing right there watching.

I look for St Paul to win this game. Solid defense, too many weapons on offense.

    Good luck from Wynford.

As far as the concussion goes yeah It's safe to say win or lose he wont play the rest of the season. Two concussions in a 3 or 4 week span is very worrisome. Two consecutive concussions like this make an Athlete vulnerable to "second impact syndrome" (swelling or herniation of the brain), which can even happen after two mild concussions. There is a story of a kid from Colorodo or somewhere like that who was a star athlete for his highschool team, and had a 4.0 GPA or something. He suffered SIS and went into a coma for a couple months, fortunately he woke up from it but has very limited motor skills. He didn't even know what happened or how, and was shocked to find out that football was the cause of the injury.

Now the helmet being the reason is kind of questionable, but schools do need a sufficient medical staff.

You all learned something today aren't you happy?

So the sign on the home stands stating reserve for visitor’s team fans was just a figment of my imagination?

oozwaj - is your name Sportscaster?! =)

94hoops I can't confirm the whereabouts of that STP helmet. Much like I cannot confirm whether or not it somehow disappeared into my private sports collection.

    Sportscaster,

I hope it was taken out of the sales agreement or that act is punishable in a court of law and comes with a serious penalty. LOL!!!

Dave, will you chill? someone made an observation and said it was interesting. Look, if hearing that your team may lose or is the underdog bothers you then get off the forums because 1. No one from the opposing team is going to pick GCC to win. (which seems to be a problem with you) and 2. You're going to be the underdog this week, and if you win you're still going to be the underdog next week. And personally if I was you I wouldn't mind being in that position. Because you have nothing to uphold and everything to prove! But if you're seriously going to get upset about every negative post stay off the forum. You will give yourself a heart attack and miss the game, if you don't chill. (and if you happen to be a pregnant female under an alias you may even be sent into premature labor.).

The guy wasn't even a St.Paul fan, he was from Bucyrus (Thanks for the support mulligan good luck in basketball, I'm hoping you guys can make another playoff run!)

I'm beginning to think Dave in RL is attending Norwalk Catholic School http://www.ncsweb.org/ and is trying to get bulletin board material for St Paul.
  • MessyDinosaur
Reading Dave's posts I think he would rather be dead than knowingly associate himself with St.Paul's. He supported GCC against Malvern, I don't think he is digging for BBM. If he was I'm sure other GCC posters would have been like "who is that guy?"
  • MessyDinosaur
Why isn't Squirmydog on freehuddle, he seemed like a classy poster, I really like him.
  • 94hoops
Dave keeps referring to the "Oppents" on here and the other site. They must be one hell of a team if GCC held the "oppents" to only 14 points. I'm glad were not playing the oppents.

94hoops, they also bring a "hammer" with them to many of the games, I'm still trying to figure out what they need it for?

I think I might invite Squirmydog from jj to this forum.

No need to invite EaglemanGC, I see he already posts here.

    same guy?

I was checking out the GCC school website (its very clean and organized), saw that you have Market Day, suggestion:Bosco Sticks.

It looks like Eagleman and Dave post similar.
