Did they win an NBA Championship last year??

I don't think so....so therefor they aren't the team to beat
Were you saying this about the Celtics last year?

Is North Carolina still the team to beat, even though they won't make the tournament?

    I certainly was....

Until someone knocks off the defending champions...they are the team to beat

Bulls management has told John Salmons to remain at team hotel as it works to finalize a trade.

The identity of the other team is not yet known.

Cleveland looking for a SG also.
  • KR1245
I wonder who the Cavs would include in a trade to bring in a SG? We just lost out biggest trading chip in Z's contract, it will be intersting to see if they pull off another move
  • KR1245
Does this mean I have to go to class tomorrow?
  • Eric Taylor
    Jamison is a solid addition.

Anytime you can add a 20 point player you help your team no matter what.

The only question in this deal is what Washington does with Z.

If they do not buy him out and keep him, this was not a good move on Ferry's part.

I wonder who the other team is?
  • IggyPride00
I think for this year, Jamison is a better basketball fit with this team.

Moving forward though not getting Amare hurts because he could have been a foundation piece for the next 4-5 years with Lebron and given the cap situation there is no way to sign a guy like that now and Jamison has maybe 2 more years of high level ball left max.

They didn't give up anything of value really so it was a great trade, but Amare was just so much more attractive long term as it was the Cavs only chance to pair Lebron with a second star caliber player.

    I have no clue.

To answer the above question about what Cleveland has left. They have some non guaranteed contracts for next season, they could trade Telfair who is an expiring, D Block, Green etc.

Those guys are all young, not the most appealing but teams looking to shed cap will listen.

I love Hickson, but this buries him in the bench....hope I am wrong though.
  • devil1197
Also, Washington will buyout Z. They want to save money not pay him.

Wes, everything I have read was that this was going to happen come playoff time anyways.

You are such an indescribably stupid mother fucker...

Ferry pulled off a great move when it looks like Phoenix can't shit or get off the pot. He wasn't getting stuck like last season...he can't depend on the Wiz to do anything and it wouldn't be his fault if they didn't do the buyout.

    Damn you're stupid...

if they get Salmons to I will be really pissed
  • Eric Taylor
The 3rd team is the Clippers.

Here is how the deal breaks down

Washington Receives: Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Cleveland's 1st Round Draft Pick and Al Thornton
Cleveland Receives: Antawn Jamison and Sebastian Telfair
    Clippers Receives: Drew Gooden

Hope everybody realizes that the Cavs took on two players while only sending one player out which means the Cavs HAVE to make some type of other move..

How soon til we know what the Wiz's plans are for Z ?
  • 2quik4u
How much is shaq going to sign for next year assuming Lebron comes back?

    Hopefully soon.

They want to save money, not pay Z.
