No,,,that just proves that Washington's GM is a fucking idiotdevil1197 wrote: Windy does not have confirmation.
But if its true, Jamison for #30 pick. Wow Ferry is pretty damn good. -
I drain 3's
Amare is top 5 for sure, but no way is he the best PF. Jamison is easily top 10, possibly top 5 as well. Jamison may be past his prime, but the dude is averaging 20 and 9 a night. Wanna know what Amare is averaging? 21 and 9. You're getting Jamison without giving up your young, promising PF. If it's true that he is now a Cav, they basically got him for nothing. No way is this a failure.gibby08 wrote:
When you had the chance to acquire one of(if not the best) PF's in the entire NBA...and you have to settle for a player that may very well be past his prime...yes...it's a failureI drain 3's wrote:gibby08 wrote:
If that is the truth...this has to be a massive failure that falls on the shoulders of Danny Ferrydevil1197 wrote: Wojo tweet:

I would love either Amar'e or Jamison but not sure why there needs to be a 3 team for Jamison.
If Lebron James leaves Cleveland...this will one of the (if not the biggest) majoir reasons he leaves
Are you saying getting Jamison is a failure?
ESPN's Ric Bucher said he expects A'mare to be traded to Miami -
gibby08ESPN just said Gooden may end up in LA

Ferry got Shaq for Sasha/Wallace
Ferry got Mo for Damn Jones at the end
Now he adds Jamison for a #30 if true
Yeah he is pretty fucking good. -

1.) This move was made to better the chances at a title this season. If Jamison doesn't work out for this season, his contract will become a valuable trade assest at some point.gibby08 wrote:
So really what your saying is that this deal was made olny to keep Lebron James in Cleveland..and if that doesn't happen...this was a fucking flop where you got potentially over-the-hill player who is due alomost $30 million over the next two yearsHighRoller74 wrote:
You're the only person considering it a failure. Amar'e is a great player, but Jamison is no slouch, and though I would've loved Amar'e I'm happy with Jamison, as he'll be a good fit on this team, and I believe next year he'll be a valuable trading chip as well.gibby08 wrote:

cavs fans mad at Kerr!!! The Cavs not getting A'mare is a direct result of Danny Ferry being a fucking failure
If..and now that is a massive IF..Lebron James stays in Cleveland...I wouldn't be suprised to see Lebron pull a Kobe and get Danny Ferry fired
2.) Can't fault Danny Ferry for the Suns dragging their feet, it's not so much that Phoenix turned the Cavs offer down, but that Ferry didn't want to be shut out, by not getting anyone.
3.) Lebron isn't going anywhere, and Kobe didn't get anyone fired. -
ytownfootballgibby you obviously have no business accumen so shut the fuck up.
-
2quik4uSo I takes it no trades have happened since i have been gone for the past 5 hours?
-
gibby08In Cleveland....Jamison will be lucky to average 15 and 6
-
ytownfootball
That's a lot better than the #30 pick we gave up for him...LOLgibby08 wrote: In Cleveland....Jamison will be lucky to average 15 and 6 -

OMG no way.gibby08 wrote: In Cleveland....Jamison will be lucky to average 15 and 6
Amar'e numbers would have dropped also. -

Trade is not finalized, but sources have said all parties have agreed in principle. -

So this could still basically be a backup plan if nothing gets done with Phoenix, though I'm very happy either way.devil1197 wrote: Windy

NO....
This deal will be a major failure for Cleveland
I can't wait until the Cavs lose to Boston,Orlando,or L.A and all you people start bitching about how this was the wrong move.
This doesn't really make you guys more of a threat than before...it will not help you beat LA -
devil1197Honestly, if were only giving up the #30 for Jamison I am extremely happy.

2quik4uAccording to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune on Twitter, John Salmons could be on the move very soon: "Bulls management has told Salmons to remain at team hotel as it works to finalize a trade. Won't play vs. Knicks."
The Bulls are trying to move Salmons for expiring contracts in an effort to clear cap to make a run at two free agents agents this summer.
We told you earlier today that there's word Salmons may have been included in the Bulls' offer to Rockets for Tracy McGrady, but the Rockets weren't keen on him. It's also believe the Knicks are the frontrunner still in such a deal, as we noted in that same post.
And NBA.com's David Aldridge makes this point as well: "Bulls have told John Salmons to remain at team hotel. Likely means Bulls are out of McGrady, as he was in deal. Brad Miller/Tyrus Thomas are playing."
Miller and Thomas were also rumored in the Houston deal, so if they're still playing, Salmons is likely headed elsewhere.
Beyond that, ESPN's Chad Ford mentioned yesterday the Bucks could be a potential suitor for Salmons. -
gibby08But I'm also going to be right quik

no shit, that's a thievery of epic proportions, I can't believe Ferry pulled that off if true.devil1197 wrote: Honestly, if were only giving up the #30 for Jamison I am extremely happy. -
devil1197Telfair also?
-
wes_mantoothIf it is true about only giving up the 30th pick, then I love this deal. Gotta admit, I wanted to hear all the national media attention that amare would have brought though....would have been very comical.

Whats your deal man? Dont you have anything better to do with your time but sit here and instigate? The Cavs are a better and more versatile team then they were yesterday. If you dont think that Jamison can help the Cavs then you dont know basketball. This guy has been solid for his entire career. I think he fits in with the Cavs better then Amare would.gibby08 wrote:ytownfootball wrote: gibby you obviously have no business accumen so shut the fuck up.

Boston is old and has trouble staying healthy, Orlando isn't the same as last year, and LA is pretty much the same. If the Cavs end up losing to any of those teams, it won't be because we dealt for Jamison. If you really think that, you're fucking stupid.
Who would you rather have guarding guys like Sheed, Rashard, or Gasol? Jamison or JJ effing Hickson? JJ was promising, but he's still young and his defense needs to improve a lot. If we lose to any of those teams with Jamison, there is no way we beat them with Hickson. -

And so it begins...
I in no way think Jamison won't help you guys...you might win the Eastern Conference now....but you still won't be able to beat LA
