Browns Vikes London game thread

kizer permanenteGood job taking advantage of short field.
Gonzalez needs cut. -
friendfromlowryBuy or sell Hue’s job (for now) depends on the outcome of this game?
-
kizer permanenteCoulda done without that fumble. Things were looking up with the stop after that score.

here comes pts before half -
kizer permanenteGood drive. Nice pass by kizer to the shoulder then a nice bailout by crow. Ends on a td.

Commander of AwesomeBrowns halftime WR snap count:
Bryce Treggs 21
Ricardo Louis 21
Rashard Higgins 10
Kenny Britt 0
Sammie Coates 0
Kasen Williams 0
Out of 23 -
kizer permanenteCome on crow.

SportsAndLadyI remember the good old days when we sucked balls but philly D was just automatic. Now we suck balls and our kicker blows. Sweet!

Commander of AwesomeCan't believe we left the RZ without a TD. They held DeValve (not called), didn't get the ball to Duke Johnson, and Kizer missed an open Treggs on 3rd down. Browns at the very least should be up 20-15. This is what losing teams do.
-
kizer permanenteHow the fuck can you call a PI on Browns on a ball not throw near thielen but not when they wrap up devalvle. Fuck off
-
like_thatAs soon as the vikes scored and the browns went 3 & out we all knew this game was going to be broken, right?

Gardens351st Kudo of the year for Hue.......gave Britt the 'ole F-You!

mhs95_06An Indy challenge results in the Bengals keeping possession and gaining 8 yds on the play compared to the original call of incomplete. They ruled that Indy did not have possession of the fumble before going OB. So I'm wondering if a fumble recovery has to meet the same standards as a pass completion with regard to being inbounds or not. I thought he established possession before going OB even though only one foot got down after he established control of the fumbled ball.

BR1986FBSaw some positives yesterday, in the first half. Defensive front seven looks very solid. Secondary needs to be addressed, big time, in the offseason. Drango did a solid job replacing JT. Nothing earth shattering but he didn't look lost. Crow averaged 5.8 per carry but lost that fumble.
Am I the only one who wouldn't mind all of their games to start at 9:30? That way, you could enjoy your afternoon and have the bad taste of another loss out of your mouth by afternoon. -

You’re not the only one. Whenever I am in the west coast, I love the early starts. MNF at 530 is so much better as well. One of the few positives of West Coast living.BR1986FB;1879313 wrote:Saw some positives yesterday, in the first half. Defensive front seven looks very solid. I think this defense definitely has potential, but they aren’t going to be shit when time of possession heavily favors the opposing team. -

Agreed. Also can't be giving up short fields because the offense is a bunch of screw ups.like_that;1879317 wrote: I think this defense definitely has potential, but they aren’t going to be shit when time of possession heavily favors the opposing team.
It's pretty sad but in Hue's postgame presser he said something to the effect of "we know we have to play perfect (and the other team needs to screw up a bit) for us to even have a chance to win in these games. We know where we are, at this point." How friggin' sad is that? You have to rely on a perfect game, with questionable talent, and for the other team to have a really bad game, just to have a chance?
Also heard something this morning about "historic bad starts over a coaches first 24 games coaching a team." John McKay (expansion TB Buccaneers) went 0-24, followed by Hue at 1-23. Even Chris Palmer, of the expansion era Cleveland Browns, went 4-20 over his first 24 games. Is this/last year's roster worse than 1999-2000 or is Hue just THAT bad? -

Hue was also 1-4 in his last 5 games with Oakland.BR1986FB;1879318 wrote:Agreed. Also can't be giving up short fields because the offense is a bunch of screw ups.

kizer permanenteWe need to unload some draft picks and trade for Martavis Bryant and TY Hilton. Multiple sources are saying both teams will unload those 2.
-
BR1986FB
Bryant, although talented, sounds like a malcontent diva with strikes against him in the substance program. Like the talent but we already have that guy (Josh Gordon) without the attitude issue. Def need WR's & DB's, along with a QB.kizer permanente;1879321 wrote:We need to unload some draft picks and trade for Martavis Bryant and TY Hilton. Yeah he is and I'd still take him on this team. He'd be a 500% improvement over what we have.BR1986FB;1879322 wrote:Bryant, although talented, sounds like a malcontent diva with strikes against him in the substance program.
