  Not to mention a) the Steelers have said they aren't giving up on him and b) he plays for the Steelers. The Browns and Steelers did business on the Justin Gilbert trade but I think the Browns would've taken a chewed piece of gum to get rid of that turd. If the Yinzers think Bryant has the slightest modicum of talent, they aren't trading him to someone within the division.

  Bryants rating this year has been attributed to Big Ben's inexplicable loss of his deep ball. I'm not worried about Bryant all of a sudden not being good anymore. I'll 100% take him. For the right price, Steelers will trade him, even to the Browns.

  Right price huh? So you'll willing to make it worth their while for a guy who hasn't put together good tape in almost 2 seasons, benched by a SB contending team, is a mal content POS lockerroom cancer calling out teammates on social media (speaks volume to his maturity), and is one strike away from being banned from football.   Well... that is how trades work, COA. Given his situation, the price isn't as high as his ability. Hence... trade for him.

  Sorry, man....I'll take my chances on someone in the draft, with no past track record (arrests, etc) who is a top prospect versus giving up a (likely) high pick for a problem child who could be in Josh Gordon's shoes with one slip up.

  Why is Hilton on the trade block? He is a good WR1 when Luck is actually out there healthy. That move doesn't make sense at all. As for Bryant, hard pass on that, unless it's for pennies. We all know the Steelers won't be giving him up for pennies.

  I was discussing this with a couple of buddies (Luck, Aaron Rodgers, etc) and this comment is probably a "softball" for S&L, but the Colts & Packers, with the loss of Luck & Rodgers have essentially become a little more competitive version of the Browns. It magnifies the lack of talent (both have a few good WR's, defense sucks) both of those organizations (GB & Indy) have put around their QB's. The Browns are bad but these teams become Browns-like when they lose their superstar QB.

  Hilton is signed through 2020 but is also 5'9". I wouldn't QQ trading for him depending what is dealt, but I'd prefer it be a 3rd round or later.

  I hate this logic. "We have sucked at drafting, so might as well trade the picks." How about our fucking front office (or new FO), acts like a competent organization and drafts properly? It works for every other successful NFL franchise. The Browns don't have a draft pick problem, they have a scouting/evaluation/drafting problem. I don't know how you expect the same guys who can't evaluate talent to also properly make a trade for "talent."

  It's not a bill of goods or a secret. Successful NFL teams draft well, period. Sashi & CO have done half of the work (collecting picks), and they have failed completely so far with the other half.

  They could have used that pick to shore up their offensive line.
  
  I wasn't pissed about T-rich. I was happy to see the Browns geta 2nd chance after fucking up the previous draft with weeden and t-rich. The aftermath (Browns draft gilbert and manziel) is depressing though.
  
  Overall I am just shocked how the Colts haven't taken advantage of Luck. I thought for sure they were going to be the next class of the AFC after that went on that run to the AFC championship.

  I mean they could've used a plethora of picks to shore up the O-Line. They just never do it. Instead it's Moncrief, Dorsett, defense (which is fine). They took Castanzo who has been on and Kelly who jury still out. The rest they have tried to patch with late round selections and FA.
  
  And did anyone think they had fucked up with Richardson? He had a very solid rookie year (numbers wise, obviously advanced metrics and tape show differently in hindsight). Then traded him a few games into 2nd season. Almost everyone I knew was pissed the Browns traded their only playmaker.

  My pipe dream comment was moreso that it would be great news if the browns got TY Hilton, and since the browns never have anything good happen to them, it’s a pipe dream.
  
  I know that Indy really is trying to trade him, I just have very little confidence he’ll land in Cleveland. He’ll probably be a patriot by Wednesday and it’ll cost NE their 4th rounder.

  I know for the draft, a lot of my browns friends (including myself) were pissed the Browns traded up to draft a fucking RB. As for the trade with indy, my group of browns friends were split on the richardson trade. Some were extremely butt hurt, the others like me thought it was the Browns chance to try and redeem themselves from the weeden/trich draft. I sure as hell was ok with getting a first round pick for t-rich. His rookie year was not that special, I think most Browns fans just wanted to believe he was a beast. His one highlight was plowing Coleman and making his helmet pop off. Other than that he looked pretty slow for a NFL rb. I had a couple buddies who were colts fans and I tried to tell them it wasn't a good trade for indy. The colts won in spite of t-rich that season, not because of him.
