    Players hate them.

I could see 5 (CIN/NYJ/LA/CHI/BALT) wins on that schedule, give or take. If they get decent QB play, I could see 7.

I don't get the "lol'd." If they trade for someone like Garoppolo CIN (2x's)/BALT (2x's)/NYJ/LA(Chargers)/CHI/JAX/TEN are all winnable games. I didn't throw in Detroit or Minnesota but neither of those teams are all that good either. That's 11 winnable games. They won't touch 11 wins but with legit QB play, I think they could get 7.

The offense could be pretty good with the revamped O-Line and addition of another WR (assuming they get the QB).

Load up on defense in the draft.

I expect this team to make a nice jump with a good draft.

I should add, as a caveat, if they go with Kessler, that number likely drops to 2 or 3.

BTW....this is coming from someone who predicted ZERO wins for them in 2016 so I'm not known to be "Mr Optimistic."

Takes time for drafted players to not suck ass, even if we take all defense in this draft, they'll still play like rookies. Oh and we still don't have pass catchers since we played penis flickers with TP.

I don't blame the Browns for the TP thing. They offered him a fair deal, TP got upset because he thought he was worth more. Turned out, the rest of the league thought the same as the Browns. Took a lesser deal than he was expecting.

So this is the 3'd FA they've played penis flickers with and you're still blaming the player?

I'm not completely sold on this front office but Schwartz & Pryor were the ones who played "penis flickers", as you say. Both were offered as good as, or better, deals than what the Chiefs/Skins offered them and they decided to roll the dice.

I'd like to see Schwartz manning the RT spot as much as the next guy (don't give a shit about Pryor) but you either want to be here, or you don't (see Alex Mack). They hesitated and lost. I'm not killing the FO over that.

I really hate when COA says "penis flickers"
  • SportsAndLady
I'll add to the convo too: I really can't blame any player for leaving Cleveland for free agency.

How is it not on the player? Both offers from Cle turned out to be the market or above market price.

Yeah, TP can go fuck himself.

HE tested market, got a sense, came back to Browns and they told him nah we moved on. Should have signed him to the deal Washington gave him. That's on the browns.

They signed another guy, so yes they did move on. TP isn't good enough to be playing that game. That's on him, he got less money when the Browns were originally offering more, and he can go fuck himself. Period.
  • iclfan2
They can't wait around for him. So they signed someone else. TP is an idiot.

    This.

Let's see how you guys feel game 6 of the season when Britt is doing dick, we can't move the ball and TP is tearing it up in Washington.

I think Rosenhaus (think that's his agent) fucked him too giving him the impression his value was more than it was. A lot of negative can be said about analytics but it looks like the Browns value on his worth was pretty much on the money. Way too many egos involved with this. Rosenhaus probably eventually realized he screwed the pooch and tried to scale TP's expectations down but by then the ego probably took over so he took less guarantee, betting on himself. This is some speculation, on my part, (along with some things that are already out there) but I bet it's not far off.

And you're right about them moving on with the Britt signing. Sounds like they just changed the name on the contract from Pryor to Britt, with the amount offered.

They are showing a pattern of this and it's the way more teams SHOULD deal with these players. "You have until 'X date' to accept this offer or it's off the table or will decrease." Schwartz & Pryor tested the waters, realized their market value wasn't what they expected, and when they came back to the Browns, the offer was off the table.

I'm not holding my breath on this.

Like others have said, fuck TP. If anything, he owes the Browns WR's coach for resurrecting his worthless career.

The comparison doesn't take into account who's throwing to them.

Didn't seem to matter to TP last season.

Here's a 7 round mock (with trades) for every team. I think I'd be kinda pissed if they traded all the way up from 12 to 2 to get Trubisky.
