    LOL.
Agreed, LOL. I had KD that year if I recall. Honestly probably should have gone to LBJ but I was very anti LBJ then.

I think it should have been LBJ. LBJ should have won it the last 6 years in my opinion with maybe the exception of last year when Curry broke the records that he did. However, Curry did not deserve Unanimous MVP last year but the media had such a hard on for the Warriors and Curry.

Derrick Rose was reportedly such an emotional wreck on Monday afternoon that his only solution was to leave the New York Knicks to be with his mother and his son, skipping their game against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Rose's state of mind was such that for a brief time he talked about walking away from basketball for an extended period of time to clear his mind.
Rose hinted at his emotional state by saying "I didn't want to take any calls at the time. I needed that space to myself and I needed to be around my mom."
Real simple fix....make a 30 second phone call to literally anyone in the organization.

Curry doesn't play defense. In fact is exceptionally bad at it. You can't be most valuable player only playing one side of the court. He never deserved to be top 5.

God damn Isiah Thomas is fun to watch. I didn't make a top ten list but he might have to be on it.

Stop me if you've heard this one before: SOURCE: Chris Paul has a torn ligament in his left thumb and will require surgery. Expected to miss 6-8 weeks

No it wasn't a flagrant...he didn't need to smack him in the face on the follow through then act like Ivan Drago about it.

Pretty ridiculous Westbrook isn't a starter. Reason #458 I won't watch that stupid game.

Also, funny exchange on Inside the NBA last night:
The Knicks - Wizards game came down to the final possession. Courtney Lee wound up with the ball on the perimeter with a decent look in the final seconds. The Wizards assistant coach is basically standing next to him on the court shouting to his players about switching a screen or something. Lee, who apparently can't differentiate a player in a uniform vs a coach in a suit right next to him thinks they're switching a screen so instead of shooting he makes a crazy cross-court pass to another Knicks player with like two seconds left. The pass is mishandled and the Knicks don't get a shot off and lose.
Lee is explaining all of this in an interview post-game which they showed.

Barkley says something like "That's a pretty lengthy explanation to basically say 'we suck.'"

The really crazy thing is that if the Knicks were in the West, they'd be the #8 seed because that conference's gotten top-heavy with a handful of really good teams and everything from #8 down being total trash.

Yikes. Didn't realize the fucking Nuggets are currently in the playoffs. That's one of my few complaints with the NBA right now. With the emergence of super-teams, so many other teams are obsolete in no-man's land. If the Magic, Nets, Nuggets, 76ers, Suns, Pistons, Kings, etc. didn't exist - who'd miss them? What's the ceiling for any of these teams in the next few years? Sneak into the playoffs and get bounced by Cleveland, San Antonio, Golden State?

The Nuggets are a pretty fun team. Jokic might be the most underrated dude in the league.

Def are, this is the best season of NBA ball I've seen in a long time. Every team is totally watchable.

The Nets bore me the most

Demarcus Cousins....outstanding. That was good stuff. [emoji122][emoji122][emoji122][emoji122]

To do that after getting completely hosed after going 42/14...good stuff

Holy shit just saw the call. That was pathetic.
  • SportsAndLady
Yeah that's awful. Cousins' reaction made me lol.

    Hilarious quotes.

"Incredible job by the referee crew tonight. I don't have a complaint in the world. I think they should get more recognition on how well they ref these games."

He sold it some too. My wife didn't know much of him and took him to be serious.

I love it. And the Bobby Knight type sarcasm at the end by clapping.
  • friendfromlowry
That's the type of call that makes me suspicious.
