Watching the GSW continuing their losing streak against the Duncanless Spurs. Pretty crazy to see a Spurs team without Timmy.

Simmons just LBJ's Curry and it was fantastic.

My favorite part of the NBA season starting are the hot takes!

Heard it from a guy this morning. Claims GSW won't even make the playoffs. Said they are the Oregon of the NBA, all flash. I said well they did already win a title, soooo they aren't Oregon.

    [emoji23] that's pretty bad.

GSW will still make the NBA finals and will win minimum 60 games.

But yes, getting blown out like that is embarrassing especially at home. All is not well up in SF.

GSW will probably make the finals but I wouldn't be shocked if a healthy Spurs or Clippers knock them out. A lot of people are underestimated Bogut's value to that team.

    This this this.

The season starts after the new year. Everything that happens before this is basically irrelevant. I always love the overreaction, either positive or negative during the early part of the season

Having said all that, last night was an awesome night to live in NorCal after everyone here had been just slamming me with my cavs gear on and how unstoppable the Warriors will be. To see them take one on the chin last night was awesome.

They turn the ball over like a middle school team. Trying so hard to push the pace, they make such bad decisions. They have a serious defensive problem, zaza cant defend the rim, and the Spurs held a layup drill during the game last night.

I did until I saw what happened in the finals last year.

Curry just had a monster year from 3 land....just something I dont believe he can duplicate. I think the season can start going sideways for them with not enough shots going around for everyone. When teams win....they don tmind, but if they dont win at a clip they feel acceptable I could see some sniping going on.

agree tho...real season doesnt start until after the first of the year like hockey

Yup. Bogut wasn't needed when the Cavs were completely depleted in 2015. He was needed this past finals against a healthy cavs roster.

I think he's the guy who'll suffer the touches, and it won't bode well for their chemistry--I see an implosion on the horizon.

That old, fat white guy giving Russ the double bird and yelling "fuck you" was great. And the reaction from Russ was classic.

But they guy should be kicked out and banned from future games.

Poor Anthony Davis. The other 4 starters for the Pelicans are Asik, Etwaun Moore, Tim Frazier, and Solomon Hill. That's almost impossibly bad given the salary cap explosion.

Myles Turner, who I think is gonna be a beast, goes for 30 and 16 tonight.

Indiana is going to be a tough team if he puts up decent numbers this year.

    The Brow is going off.
Anthony Davis update: 48 points (16/30 FG; 16/17 FT), 15 rebounds, 5 assists, 6 steals, 4 blocks in 38 minutes. Pels down 100-98.

76ers pretty good opening night showing win or lose this game. Embiid is going to be fun to watch.
  • wildcats20
Derozan had 40 too. Good night for scorers.
  • wildcats20
Embiid has had a heck of a night too. Damn good debut. He could be really good, but I just don't think he will be able to stay healthy.

Davis and Westbrook the stars by themselves were huge tonight.

Didn't realize Gorgui Dieng was on the TWolves with Andrew Wiggins. They were high school teammates at Huntington Prep right on the Marshall University campus. My daughter said she gets to watch them practice at the Marshall Rec center and they are ridiculous. The school is an old dingy church. Guess Calipari and Pitino are behind it becoming a huge feeder prep school.

Guess I should go ahead and order League Pass

    Anthony Davis final line...

    50, 16, 7 steals, 5 assists, 4 blocks.
